Make it KD with a clean hit. -15 on a FC 20 damage +3 low is insanely bad. It's more punishable than it used to be.

D3. If you're gonna take a risk. At least d3 can get a combo. I rather get launched doing that than get launched for doing the slide now.

@@kennethforman5265 also d3 frame data is better now too, it was -3 on hit in t7 if you didn't go into hitman but here it showed it is -1 without hitman, so it'll be at least 0 on hit if you go into stance maybe even plus. Kinda crazy

It's gonna be T6 all over again. Easy execution characters being broken and hard execution being shit. Maybe Harada probably took the 3 bar Law memes too seriously. Another case is T8 Jin. Sure he's no Katarina or Shaheen but when compared to the older games he's basically goes full GGStrive.

@@punnahteerawat120 Yeah but, Magic 4 one hit is no Longer a combo initiator, It has to be 2 for it to be launcher and, if u do, there's no actual way to combo it as there's no actual move that will reach the distance for u to keep up. (At least, so far on what have been tested, it might change tho) But, not surprised as most of these safe launchers on counter hit were removed from the entire roster. Really hard that the magic 4 character itself (Excellent Chaolan) was go

his mist step still exist so yeah... tho you still need to press back to cancel the mist step to crouching position.

And he still has no 15 frame WS launcher. In order to launch i15 from crouch you have to block with db, quickly slide to back and then do hop kick otherwise the other useless move will come out if you directly do uf 4 (Slow backflip that is launch punishable and comes out in same frames as delayed hop kick and does same damage). Slide nerf is absolutely messed up and was not needed. he can now get fully launched for his 50 50 mix up which is bonkers. he just has a few new moves. the good one IMO is ff2 into mist step. He can still launch from magic 4 and CH d3 which a lot of character cant in the game. he already had the plus sides in tekken 7 but he is nerfed to hell now. OH BTW, d3 (his main low poke) now has pushback on hit. and of course, many will call me a whiner and defend the devs for any stupid decision made. I don't give a damn. Will play him but he is nerfed even further.

@@user-br7rx2sz1k yup, no proper ws launcher for i15 sucks... seems like they want to reduce the time spent trying to wake up from being grounded by not giving characters moves that knock down. Are you sure they get a full launch on blocked slide now? If so the risk/reward has gone way over the risk side... not sure what the idea is behind d3 pushback. you were supposed to go to hms afterwards and taunt the foe to press into hms 3 or parry parry but if the foe is faraway, chances are they won't press.

it is slightly faster now being i22 instead of i24 and it still launches on CH atleast

Yes and now you can even spam longer and reach wall to wall way easier with heat engagers and also launchers that this game added with them new mechanics. With little execution you can easily loop mist step from wall to wall with really little effort (And as I said, way more hits that connect, like instead of 4 u could kinda do, u can do like 7-9 lmao)

b+2~f is still there... all his move that transition to mist step still remains.

nah the only real nerf is slide, and tbh I don't think it's gonna be THAT big of a deal.
