Tekken character customization is WAY BETTER than just color variations and alternate costumes locked behind a BIG pay wall. But the world tour mode of SF6 is still in a league of its own.

I think this is better than soul caliber and street fighter, the customs aren’t too crazy to where you can’t even tell the original character being used but just enough to make accurate cosplays of other characters

Good work and it really shows the potential for cosmetic-focused content is promising. The game just came out and these results are only from the in game resources. There will be more official custom items added. And of course the fan work on all kinds of mods.

For those who want DoomSlayer in Tekken, here’s a list I did to make him. Lars: Rebel army helmet (Green helmet, dark cyan visor, dark grey visor frame) Lara’s Tekken 7 costume painted green and brown according what parts are the same colour as what DoomSlayer has (I find it best when I had a picture of him on my phone) Add the shotgun Add the spiky shoulder pad on the empty shoulder and paint it green with the frame around it brown. Make hit effects red and you’re done. Hope this comes out well for whoever wants to try it, not sure if anyone else has made it other than me yet and I wanted to share this because it looks incredibly good, have fun!

T8 has a lot less customization options than T7. Everything looks better, but there’s far less stuff to choose from.

@@spaceegg4312 I was actually pretty disappointed with the reduced amount of customization options. Hopefully it will improve because I heard that they’re planning on T8 lasting 10 years so they’ll need to do a lot to try to keep it fresh. But you’re probably right about the paywall.

When I complained about the downgrade in customization in Tekken 7, people said that it was because of the low budget. Well, they had a prettty decent budget this time around, and they still removed a lot of options and made things even more limited. They just don't really care, as they know fans will hype the game anyway.

I'm peeved that you can't separate the top, bottoms and shoes from the default outfits like you used to. You just have to wear the full thing together or not at all. I'd like for gloves to be a separate option, too
