The origins of it is from when he first started playing King and was immediately annoyed that the outfit was distracting him from actually seeing all of his moves. Which I can actually get onboard with haha. I mean I may have done a bit more than the blue pants. But it definitely isint distracting that’s for sure

it hurts to see the first jin as a jin main though, he was so bad it's a wonder how he got to vanquisher. Didn't even remember if he does any more electrics after the second or third round

im in orange with king rn but i wouldnt say im stuck cuz i got to it a couple days ago and havent been up to playing ranked since hopefully i wont get stuck tho edit: reached red ranks i lost i think 2 sets total since making this comment, won the rest

This one video got me to dominator so far with king in like 2 hours having never played him, i like the way this guy yells what inputs he’s doing its very memorable, immediately picked up on his mixup strategy

Learn enemies strings and moves data and wrtite it down, i go back in replays and figure out how to counter certain moves, ducking, backdash, side step and learning the correct frame punishes. I write it down on my phone and i look at the data i have when i fight a new opponent, i am like you in early red ranks and when i look back at certain matchups people do - 14 frame moves that i didnt even punish, learning strings etc is such a good way to improve. Like jhin doing his jab jab, overhead leg move, you can jab him out of it or sidestep right and punish. Stuff like that is not something i think about in game, but during the replay parts i do and i try to implement it in my gameplay. I am still rather new at tekken so i basicly do not know any of the strings characters use, but slowly learning and adapting is defenitly a good feeling :)

Yea with the plathora of mechanics in the game as massive movelists each player accumulates their own pile of tricks and their go-to offensses, defense and crutches at bad moments as they grow and no main is similar to another it's one of the coolest things in a fighting game and one of the many many reasons tekken is so good

I'm in eliminator and getting super mixed opponents, some people in red ranks who play like they just installed the game, some people in orange who 3-0 me 2 sets in a row effortlessly. I feel like it'll balance out more as time goes on and people settle into their ranks tho.
