It's incredible to see the leaps in graphics over time with this video. One good example is Tekken Tag Tournament. The difference between Tekken Tag Tournament for the System 12/PlayStation and the PlayStation 2 is absolutely night and day. The best generational leap ever. Sure, the arcade version wasn't shown here, but the difference between PS1 and PS2 hardware is a generational leap so vast, its a leap we'll potentially never see again.

tekken music had no right to slap this hard. music wise, i love all of them, but tag 2 slapped so dang hard🔥 t7 season 3 is also tied omg. for the character screen itself, tekken 8 looks FANTASTIC. seeing tekken 4’s character selection brings me back so much memories ;v;

T3 and TTT’s take me back. I hadn’t heard any of the others until now. 7’s is just loud sounds and noises to me. 😖 But I do like 8’s a whole lot!

What a trip down memory lane. I'd like to say all console Tekken games are good, my close-to favorites are Tekken 2, Tekken 3, and Tekken Tag 1 I REALLY LIKED Tekken 4 and Tekken 5; but they just didn't quite reach the enjoyability of the others. My absolute favorite thus far is Tekken Tag 2 though. Tekken 6 and Tekken 7.... meh. Some good, some bad. Tekken 8 is looking amazing, already preordered it for Steam (I don't have a next-gen console). Tekken 1 is the worst of them, for obvious reasons.
