Theres also special victory screens if you win with a tag combo, where the two fighters interact, a lot of them are just them walking past each other but some are pretty entertaining

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is a childhood favorite, I remember spending hours and hours gaming with some friends in highschool. every map has theyre own kickass soundtrack too.

The Dead Or Alive games has a Tag Throws also. That's another one to look out for. Prefer earlier games in the DOA series.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is a good game with all characters from previous Tekken games that came before it. Some characters in Tekken are friends, or foe or in family, or trained from the same trend. That's why some moves are connected to specific character. If you play with Heihachi and Kazuya, they have the special tag moves. Do more Tekken reactions!

A little insight, watch how their feet move. Slower feet movement means slower attacks but harder hitting combos. Faster feet movement means faster attacks but lighter combos. Eddie however, the guy in the yellow and green clothes doesn’t play with this rule. He hits fast and hard and can take half your health bar in a matter of seconds if you’re not careful (Miguel is the same way except he hits exceptionally harder). Also slower feet movement means a little easier to master while faster takes a little more time to master.

I like that almost everyone in Tekken does a pretty decent, but obviously exaggerated, version of real martial arts and speaks their native language. It's the little things that make entire countries love these characters, and it's pretty apparent if you watch the reaction to Fahkumram's reveal trailer during a tournament in Thailand

Tekken is my favorite fighting game, and I love it more than Street Fighter or King of Fighters or Mortal Combat (as my gore tolerance is low), because Tekken devs think out of the box to make stuff like these happen. Also if you guys like Tekken, you should check out Evolution of Yoshimitsu, as he is one my favorite characters in Tekken and his appearance changes every generation.

So, there's a little bit of a backstory to these throws: - Kazuya (white) and Heihachi's (black clothes) throws represent their Tekken 5 intro. You can check out their comparison. - Kazuya and Lee (white hair) hate each other; In fact, in Tekken 1, Lee is Kazuya's sub-boss (a.k.a. before final boss) - The headbutts all represent the people who learned under the Mishima fighting styles. Yes, even the bears. - Kazuya wanted to make Alex (the boxer raptor) and Roger (the boxer kangaroo) so a unique tag throw is needed. - There is a special tag throw between the Mishimas and the Kazamas. Mishima performs the headbutt and the Kazamas throw them to the ground. A reference to Jun and Kazuya, the couple in the games. - Violet is Lee in disguise, only fittingly on those types of clothing & dye. - Paul (Red) and Marshall Law (Black pants) are friends. This is also true for Forest Law (white clothing), which is Marshall Law's son. Throws are unique to the three of them. - Paul and Bryan references Tekken 3 and 6; 3 from the stage, 6 from the intro (same punch type) - Recently, in Tekken 6, Steve also got in the friendship of Paul and Law, so a unique throw is referenced. - Paul and Kuma are enemies. Kuma is a sub-boss of Paul in Tekken 1 and 2. - Paul and Kunimitsu don't have anything referential other than move synergy. - Nina (blonde) and Anna (brunette) are sisters. Nina is the cold blooded assassin who likes Tom from Tom and Jerry for some reason and Anna is the... suggestive sister. (continue)

You should check out throws from Mortal Kombat series. Like, take MK Armageddon for example. It has some cool throws. Or also check out MK vs DC game's combo challenge video. It is a video about a combo challenge mode in the game, where you need to do combos that game shows you on the screen. And let me tell you, some of the combos from that game is just crazy.

Unrelated to the video, but one Japanese gamer got himself banned for telling his teammate to run in a PUBG battle royale game. This is because the autoban bot couldn't differentiate between the Japanese word for "run" ("Nigeru") from the no-no N word. It's a little unfortunate that speaking Japanese can get you in some hot water either through copyright, or other issues when bots don't understand other languages exist.

The Tag throws were definitely one of aspects the devs put a lot of care into. So much attention to detail in the movements that fits each character. If you haven’t noticed or just haven’t watched a lot of TTT2 related videos, it’s a game that has a lot of love and fan service put into it for the fans. And the fact that it sold very poorly due to bad marketing is just a damn shame. Hope Tekken Tag Tournament 3 (which everyone assumes will come after Tekken 9 because the Tag games come out after 3 main sequels so far) will have a better reception and just as much care put into it as 2.
