I love how motorcycles in many parts of the world are not just "recreational vehicles" but true workhorse machines that are employed to do real jobs and real work. They are vital means of transportation. We Americans will never have the same relationship with motorcycles as many people around the world do.

@@TheInsultInvestor Yes, progressed. Now they have more vehicles that are better suited to a wider variety of jobs. Back then, they used motorcycles out of necessity. Motorcycles were small and cheap vehicles. Today, the necessity of using motorcycles in such a manner is no longer required because they have progressed past that. You don't see people doing this kind of thing with motorcycles in America anymore because there is no longer the necessity for it.

@@TUBESPECIFIC1 Some people even made railroads using cement and metal sheets, to get the cost down, and they use them for similar low-weight transport. Basically, the cheapest weatehring steel (which is steel which isn't dissolved by rust, but the layer of rust prevents lower layers from being dissolved by the rust), compacted concrete (basically dirt, 5%-6% cement, and 2-3 times more water, mixed well, and compacted / hammered down in a form, with interlocking parts at the ends, all those parts held together at the ends with nails), and wire going through the cement is used to tie down the steel sheets to prevent sliding. Basically, a wagon like in the video can hold about half a ton, everything included, and still last for at least a few years of low-intensity use.

Just ride bike on and rear wheel sits on the rollers like at an MOT test station and off you go. About ten people can sit on it.. Great idea by locals who use the rail lines of huge coal trains without permission. Desperation is the mother of invention. 🎉
