Top brace on the back of the gate is the wrong way around. It should be the other way around like the bottom brace. Good luck with that sagging

Shouldn't the latch catch be screwed to the gate post, not the slot cover. My slot covers are loose and slide down, how should I fix them?

You are not levelling the post you are plumbing it!
