Senior Editor Telakapalli Ravi comments on the the Committee of Officers appointed by the Andhra Pradesh Government to finalize a location for the Chief Minister's camp office in Visakhapatnam has pinpointed the newly-constructed resort buildings of the A.P. Tourism Department atop Rushikonda as the most suitable option. The committee conveyed its recommendation to the State government in a recent report. Formed on October 11, 2023, through G.O. Rt. No. 2015, the committee's primary task was to identify transit accommodation for the Chief Minister's Camp Office and lodgings for key officials, including the Special Chief Secretary of the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department, Special Chief Secretary of the Finance Department, and Secretary to Government (Services and HRM) in the General Administration Department.
