Jasmin, As someone who has been involved with telemark skiing for over 30 years. I like your prediction. When I started it was hard to find anyone else around who was doing it. In spots it has grown and at one point there seemed to be a surge in interest. I hope your prediction for the future holds true. I wish people realized they have every skiing option available on telemark skis, they only form of skiing that affords all of those choices. Good luck, you are a great ambassador for the sport.

BBC Sport has resisted featuring both Telemark skiing and Jaz for too long, especially for a person who has more World Cup winter sports podiums than anyone else. This is long overdue. Keep up the good work and good luck for the rest of the season Jaz.

Brilliant. I’d rally keen to get into telemarking . I am an advanced piste skier, ok ish off piste. Who do you recommend in the uk for telemark boots binding and skis. I can’t find anyone.

@@jaztelemark brilliant thanks for replying. Can I also ask you. About boots and bindings I am looking at getting the meidjo 3 binding Can yo ski alpine with these and a scarps boot. Not sure if my legs can take telemark skiing all day. Might need to switch back to alpine when tired or ice or to steep Was thinking of getting alpin heel. But can’t find matching boots to fit. What would you suggest. Thanks

@@Adywebb123 The best is to email The M Equipment and ask, because I am not sure about the alpine heel connection. Otherwise, Scarpa boots with inserts and Meidjo 3.0 is a great choice.

Rugby is a town in Warwickshire, England. Not an area or region. And a very special region in Norwegian history and culture too. Rugby seems to have given you a measure of cognitive impairment. Give it up before it’s got beyond a joke is my advice.
