Just got a set and installed , they have indeed changed that bracket, also they make in 2 sizes if in doubt about size buy the bigger size as it just means one of the rungs at bottom would have a closer spacing if you positioned ladder close ( that is at a lesser angle). They are well built so strong enough for a heavy person with a heavy box . I paid 200 quid for the longer version . Very happy and no mess on landing anymore waiting to go in loft .

For those asking about the "extension kit". I think that's just an expression and that he did it himself. Looks like some additional aluminium tube has been slid over the bottom tubes, drilled and screw in place. Not that difficult to do so long as you can find some tube with the correct diameter bore. You can likely remove the rubber pads and fit them on the new tubes or buy some after market pads that fit the newly added custom extension tubes.

Great video! I’m looking to get a ladder like this one as I have very limited space around the loft hatch. Is it possible to climb the ladder with only a slight angle on it? (almost vertical). I have very limited landing space, due to position of loft hatch and I am really struggling to find a ladder that will fit.

I watched both your Youngman install video and this Telesteps video. Presumably if you still have the Telesteps it's now approaching a decade in service. How is it holding up for you? Any particular complaints? Also, how large an opening do you need in order to install these?

Thanks for the video, do you have the mini version or the maxi? I've just made a mistake, i ordered the maxi, because the height was to mutch and now i can't fit it in the hole, because it requires more space, about 920mm, so, i have to trade for the mini, but the mini has no sufficient height, but now on your video, i can see that you have an extension! I think that would solve my problem! Were did you got that please? And please indicate minimum ceiling hole length, so the ladder can fit with the extension Thanks.

Handy set of ladders , I had some new ones Ramsdens but again like you I had to have the longer ones , but I keep mine down as they go in to my garage , then I just fitted a trap door from up above to keep the cold out .
