@marianne mccrank: Yeah, I've just heard that but now that Adult Swim Canada has its own channel and Teletoon has switched to all kid-friendly, I'd have to say that there is likely a chance for Teletoon to air some of these shows again but without a new nighttime adult block just like they did before the Detour launched. What do you say about that?

teletoon did adult programming first. they had adult-oriented shows from the start way back in 1997, four years before adult swim was a thing.

One of my earliest memories is sitting on the couch with my brother and my parents friend's two kids watching The Detour. We knew we weren't supposed to be watching but my parents were upstairs with their friends so we did. I faintly remember in between the shows there were these little promos with a kid on his dirtbike or something like that riding around town and doing tricks. I'm pretty sure there was a dog too? Can you please upload if you know what I'm talking about?

i used to be scared of teletoon detour/teletoon at night, though i think it was because i didn't like futurama, and since futurama was the first show that came on, i associated my irrational autistic fear of futurama with the block itself.

Oddly enough, Teletoon actually launched their own version of both Cartoon Network and Adult Swim in Canada last year.

Yeah but now Adult Swim Canada has its own channel and both CN Canada & Teletoon have switched to an all-kids format. Don't ya just get that?

its to bad the simpsons and south Park only aired on the French version I always thought it would be cool to have them included in the English line up too

@marianne mccrank: You're so right about this, In fact, it did air on the English Teletoon channel during the evening. That was until the official launch of the Detour block but now all of that has changed.
