Love the Flik and Nina one. The 2D animation is amazing in this game. There's very few games outside this and Breath of Fire 3 and 4 that have such attention to detail.

Awww Riou and Tir so nostalgic, I want to see them again. And Viki her unite attack with anyone in any series always hillarious. The only time she really useful in battle was in Suikoden 3 her summoning was so powerful.

As a kid i could only play the demo of Suikoden II. I was completely astonished by that badass intro video. Even tough i never got to really play it, i come back every once in a while to watch the intro video. Maybe i give the remaster a try when it comes out ^^.

Flash ATK( Gantetsu, Bolgan & L.C. Chan)- Death by...SHINING HEADS!! XD 4. 100 Kobold ATK( Gengen & Gabocha)- Variation of Kobold ATK, kinda LOL. 5. Twin Fighter ATK( Wakaba & L.C. Chan)- These two could be the descendant of Ansatsuken fighters hehehe.

I played both Suikoden 1 & 2 a few months back for the first time. I was a bit sad that I glossed over these 2 RPG's in my youth but was pleasantly surprised to be able to play them both in quick succession :D. Thanks for this compilation. Even though I recruited everyone in both games I never had the time to try out every party combination so I never saw more than a 1/4 of these specials!

You can use Tir if you have a clean save from Suikoden 1, no matter how many destiny stars you gathered, just make a save in the last dungeon and you can convert It in Suiko 2. After you defeat Necklord you need to go do a city (forgot the name) and you will find Gremio and a mini-quest will happen.

@Piisuke Huh, I didn't know that Riou & Tir had another animation. I'll look into that when I get the chance. I'm considering remaking this video (again) to add annotations of the Unite names and such, but that's when I find some downtime from my studies. I'll add this to my 'to-do' list though. @rvlast In the Options Menu there's a volume control to change the volume of the BG music and sound effects. I just turned down the BG music and left the sound effects on.

@TelicNotionX Yes, you missed a Unite with Wakaba and Long Chan Chan when they are both at critical state. Also, you can use Servant Attack while Bob is in his werewolf form too.

My top 5 Suikoden II Unite Attack: 1. Riou & Nanami 2nd Unite - when she just sits and eats while reading book 2. Flik & Nina 3. Kasumi & Monda 4. The Bald Unite - you just gotta love 3 shining bald guys 5. Tengaar, Meg, Mille .

When I played this game (and probably one of the best ones at that) a couple of years ago, the unite attack I relied on towards the end of the game were Anita and Valeria (4:31). With Anita equipping Fury, and the latter equipping Balance Rune (so she wouldn't become unbalanced anytime) it made the game so easy to finish, but it def. has a reply value :DD

@hilic3 Now that I have the time to check this out, I could not do a Unite with Wakaba and LCC when they're both low on HP. There's their Twin Fighter Unite when both of them are Berserked/Fury, but I don't see any other Unite Attack. Otherwise, their Twin Fighter Unite is @ 2:08

Yes, I was playing this on the PC. If you own the original game disks, you can run them off your computer using an emulator. I used ePSXe. If you don't own the original disks, you can use Google to look for an .ISO of Suikoden II.
