You know Ms jen im so proud of you naguumpisa ka palang dito sa youtube isa ako sa mga laging nanood ng mga videos mo (i hope you still remember me 😊). The day na mapanuod ko itong video mo na ito dami kong narealized na kahit pala saan ka magwork madami talagang toxic na tao. Yung tipong you lived your life to the fullest but dami mo maririnig na chika about sayo like (ano ba ginawa ko sa inyo) ilang beses ko ito pinanood kasi gusto ko na sana umalis sa work ko now dahil daming issue na sangay sangay yung mga issue na hindi naman totoo. Nakakadepress yung ganun like yung mga gusto ko inaayawan ka because of the issues.

Tsismis is one of the worst killers of your drive to work. Makakaya ko pa yung stress nang dahil sa work pero stress due to toxic people ang hirap po talaga. It's the same reason I left the hospitality industry and shifted to a different career.

Omg, totoo. Danas na danas ko yan. Ang hirap pumasok kapag ganun, kasi hindi mo na kerri yung ganung setup na lagi ka chinichismiss and all. Kaya that's one of my reason din kaya ako nagresigned sa work ko. Knowing na I don't have friends to trust. ☹️ I became so lonely and got anxiety because of it. Tapos kailangan mo talaga maging maingat, at ginagawa mo yung best mo para di magkamali kasi kapag nagkamali ka, yung judgement sayo sobra. Na parang gusto mo gawin sa sarili o irules mo na wag magkamali. And it is so difficult lalo na lagi mo sila kasalamuha and sympre sa work you need to interact with them gusto mo man o hindi. Akala ko ako lang nakakaranas, sobrang down na down ako sa panahon na yun to the point na I lost myself.

I can really relate with the "chismis" part. I was friends with someone for 7 years who I only met at work. I thought we were really good friends, I share with her everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, but I didn't know she takes it as masyado akong ma-drama, OA, etc. And worse part is, she doesn't tell it to me directly but to other people. When I got promoted to the manager position, somebody told me she went to the extent of complaining to the clients about how it's unfair for us to have the same salary knowing that I handle a smaller team (we are from different departments). And just recently, someone sent me some screenshots of how she talks about me - calling me names, telling other people wala akong diskarte, walang utak, parang high school kung umasta. That's why I get very self-conscious whenever I come in the office because I don't know what else she has been telling other people about me. It does affect my self-esteem and my self-confidence a lot so I am contemplating whether it's worth staying with the company, or find my inner peace somewhere else. I did stop talking to her. I didn't confront her, even if I don't explain why I suddenly stopped being friends with her, I know she knows what she said and did. Glad you finally found your own inner peace. :)
