TRXSHY Spiderman in the comics has always been kinda dark. Even Tobey’s films were dark in their own way. Tom’s spiderman and certain animated series are the only media that share this character in a more childish way.

Even as a young child who did not like TASM I was very happy to see Andrew's Spidey make quips and jokes in the car thief scene. Andrew was sold as a good Spidey (not great because the movies he was in) even as a small child.

Just my opinion but I've always liked the amazing Spider-Man series and I feel like It is the best one out there. Spiderman is a hero ,A hope for New York. Andrew's version of Spiderman describes it in the best way...even after such fall he always held on to hope. Also Andrew Garfield is the most comic accurate Spiderman and Peter Parker
