Hi, welcome to ShuoshuoChinese 说说中文; my name is Shuo, I’m a native Chinese teacher living in Bangkok, Thailand, I’ve been teaching Chinese as a foreign language for seven years and I’m also a language learner.
In this channel, I will upload a weekly video, in which I talk about Chinese vocabulary, Chinese grammar, Chinese culture, Chinese stories with pinyin and the English translation for listening practice.

This is such a good idea. You discussed the 5 personality traits extravert / introvert, open mindedness, conscientiousness (related to self-discipline), neuroticism (related to the ability to control emotions), and agreeableness.

I rather like the 5-factor model. It really helps me think about people. I wish more people would forget about that “other” model of personality types and learn about this one.

我觉得我也是一个自信的人。根据一个旧同事，我很傲慢的。但是我认为她搞混自信和傲慢了（她认为它因为我说了我不害怕在观众前面说话）。而且我有时候有点儿不耐烦. 但是我不只向其他的人不耐烦，而且甚至向自己不耐烦。最后我也觉得我思想很开放和善良。

Great video! Now with 拖延 I can describe myself perfectly. Also in terms of the youtube algorithm, that was a good way to end the video, abrupt to keep retention up and stop people from clicking away before it's over.

我很开放 literally means "I am an open person", but when you say this seriously to a guy esp if you are a girl, it's like saying "I am an easy girl, please sleep with me" lol.

In English, one can be open-minded and conservative. So, using 思想开放 as a contrary of 保守 does seem a little wrong. While in China, I did learn that 保守 is used in a very derogating way by some big-city people to describe provincial people they look down on. I didn’t like that. Anyway, it’s off-topic.
