Telling a story with hard reflectors - Lindsay Adler vs Chris Knight

We asked Lindsay Adler and Chris Knight to create images representing this year’s Pantone Color of the Year, but with a twist: Use as many lights as you want, but only shape light with hard reflectors. These are the reflectors they used:

Chris' approach is ethereal. But both photographers show a very delicate sense of perfect lighting. The emotions are conveyed accurately and that is brilliantly done.

I love both results but prefer Chris' if I have to pick one. His use of different colors of light adds dimension and intrigue to the end result. Lindsay's photo, though, showcases the color of the year so if that was the criteria, I'd chose her image for relevancy.

wow, both amazing shots, but..... Chris Knight's 80's tech vibe really speaks nastalga to me, so it has to win, SORRY Lindsay, a hard choice, both where great exemplars of your skills in light shaping.
