Great video! Is it worth going for Q700C or Q800C? Q600C is currently selling for 349 €, Q700C for 440 € and Q800C for 499 €.

Hello, I have a Sony KDL-55W805C TV (or 808C, I don't remember), I bought it in 2017, so only now, after so many years, I want to change something and test 2 soundbars: Bose TV Speaker 3.0 100 W soundbar and the second one 200W Samsung HW-Q600C. Both prices are identical, approximately PLN 1,150. Of course, the difference is noticeable even to a deaf person - the TV speakers are no longer suitable for listening after connecting both devices. I have a dilemma which one to leave. Even though Bose does not have a separate bass speaker, it does a great job and I am very pleased with it, it does not take up much space under the TV and is elegant. The Samsung, on the other hand, is much larger and has a separate speaker for the bass, so the bass is more noticeable and catches my ear better than the Bose (but I must emphasize that I like both). Recently, I listened to a Soundbar for PLN 2,600 at my family's house and for me the bass was like crazy :) I connected both soundbars to the TV with an HDMI Arc cable and this is how I listen to and test them. I feel like it would be quieter when viewed optically, but I'll check it out later. At the beginning, I couldn't handle the Samsung because I turned the volume up to 100% and it played much quieter than the Bose, e.g. at 40%, I set something in it and now it's at 12-15% and it's loud, the night mode was turned on, which makes it quiet. probably everything except the sopranos :) I have a TV with Play via optical fiber, I run Amazon Prime, KZfaq, Netflix, etc. and only on KZfaq it is the quietest, while on the rest of the applications it is loud. I noticed something like this: a Disney cartoon is playing in English, it's very loud at volume e.g. 15, I change the language to PL and I have to turn the volume to 100% and there's nothing great either. Why is this the case with Samsung? I'm still checking if it's the same with Bose, but I think it will be the same everywhere. Does YT or the Polish language have a different sound coding and that's why it plays so much quieter? I still need to check what the sound will be like from PS5 and from a pendrive with a movie.

Hi Good review 👍 It's just a silly question. I purchased the bar a day ago. Does it matter if I plug power ac at the back of sub upside-down? (the opposite way you plugged it in). Also, I noticed both power plugs seems to be the same. Doesn't matter which one I use for the bar vs. sub? The power socket is somewhere up the wall and makes more sense to plug it this way. Thanks in advance for your reply 😊

@TellyDan One last question for you. I am not sure if you had the chance to test it, but it's just a thought. After playing any type of content, the sub, I assume, goes on standby mode? I hear short blip noises from the sub, but it's only noticeable if it is very quiet. Example. Watched a film last night, and in about 10-15 mins, if not played any content, the sub was doing these noises. As soon I start playing anything, the noise goes away. Do you think this is normal behaviour? Thanks again

I recently bought this soundbar and I have a question. As according to samsung site this device was launched in july 2023 but on my soundbar package manufacturing date showing june 2023. Is this okay? Pls reply...

It was probably built completely in June and began to be ready for sale in July.

Yo he buscado la misma opción... pero promotores de Samsung me dicen que no es compatible con bocinas laterales Es la gama de entrada de soundbar con Atmos y sólo cuenta con los 3.1.2 🤷🏽‍♂️ Su version Q800ZX 5.1.2 si soporta los speakers laterales.

@@PrimitivoZ90sCrew_CDMX Translated: have looked for the same option... but Samsung promoters tell me that it is not compatible with side speakers It is the entry range of soundbar with Atmos and it only has 3.1.2 🤷🏽‍♂ Its Q800ZX 5.1.2 version does support side speakers.

I'm also wondering about rear speakers..When I look at Samsung speaker descriptions, they don't mention this soundbar as compatible...But I see bundle deals for soundbar with SAMSUNG SWA-9200S Wireless Rear Speaker Kit (Amazon and Best Buy). Does anyone know if those speakers work?

Would I connect an xbox to the bar and bar via arc to the TV arc port? Or just connect xbox and sky box etc direct into TV.. non arc ports. And the TV and bar arc to arc?

Anyone here knows if this soundbar is compatible with SWA9500S rear speakers or the SWA9200S. Samsung website says it is compatible with the SWA9200S but sales agent from physical stores says it doesn't. Hope someone can answer me. Thanks!

I have the Samsung q600c soundbar with woofer we’ve had it 2 weeks was working great. Now it won’t come on. We had a power outage & since them it doesn’t work the woofer has a blue blinking light but sound bar won’t even power on. Is it toast? We had on a surge protector

How do you enable Dolby atmos? I also have a Q series tv but it's greyed out.

You have to play content with Dolby Atmos. For example a Blu-ray or 4K Blu-ray disc with Dolby Atmos or Dolby Atmos content from a streaming app.

how is the dolby atmos effect?

Disappointing. I found the LG s80qy to have much better atmos and ambient sounds, but the samsung had better sound when it came to vocals. However, the volume, sound modes and bass were better on the LG.
