Wow! I didn’t know they remixed Amber’s club classic “Sexual (Li Da Di)”?!? One of my favorites songs to listen to. Love her vocals…

It is not an official remix, Marco. We have notified all publishers and writers involved and also their 'distributor' Distrokid to get to the bottom of this, as we are not aware of an official mechanical license. They released this track on 02/25/2022 on countless streaming and downloading platforms and if they do hold an official license, then there will not be a problem.

@@DanceDivaAmber Totally agree, beautiful. And yeah, I knew this wasn’t an official release. I should had wrote that why was “ft. Amber” missing in the title. Sucks using someone else’s hard work for these guys to benefit from & not giving the artists their due and also give proper credit and get permission for use. I’m sure these two “DJ’s” jumping around would hate to hear that people ripping this “release” instead of paying for it.

@@DanceDivaAmber Amber we have the license for this - would never do that. Everything is re created as well and re cut. Worked very hard to come as close as possible to original texture cause we love the song.

@@B1GMARC1 They do not need to say 'ft Amber ' if indeed my vocals are not somewhere underlying soundboard manipulated . We are getting to the bottom of that. As said - if they hold an official mechnical license and account toward the writers/publishers properly, there should not be an issue. But they still need to rename the song properly into 'Sexual Li Da Di'.

You may want to listen to the original joint that was released by the original artist. It’s beyond on a next level! Of course they didn’t mentioned this in their description field. They came off if as though it’s an original joint by them and it’s not.

As talented as they may be. This song isn’t an original. It’s simply a remix of a classic dance hit. There’s no mention of the original writers or artist. So disappointing.

Can’t you guys come up with original material? This song was a club classic (Billboard Dance/Club Play No.1) and pop hit (Billboard Top 40) in 1999/early 2000s by Amber. She also was a co-writer of the song, along with powerhouse songwriters Billy Steinberg and Rick Nowels. One of the best club tracks from that decade. If you want to use a song, at least give the proper credit to the original recording artists and writers for their contributions.

I agree with you. So disappointing that their is no mention in their description field that they remade/remix this song. It comes off if as though it’s an original joint. Young upcoming artists need to be mindful of this. This could lead into lawsuits and money I’m sure they don’t want to put out if they can’t or need too.

@@WaitItsMeCarlos Many of these young more underground 'artists' or DJs or whatever have zero respect these days. But no worries. All publishers and writers involved are already contacted and so is their distributor Distrokid. There will be no problems if they hold a proper mechanical license.

Thanks for your love here. My fans have their eyes everywhere. We are currently getting to the bottom of this. All publishers, writers and their distributor Distrokid are already notified. And we also notified this group- we will see how long it takes for them to get back to us...if they hold an official mechanical license, they are fine and are allowed to cover the song.
