They might pronounce it slightly different but yes.

Actually, for at least some dialects in Brazil, the circumflex doesn't affect pronunciation at all, so that the singular and plural of each verb sound identical, as "tem" or "vem." One question Sandra: does this mean that "têm" and "vêm" are considered to have one syllable, even though it sounds like two?
