Please note that the DHT11 will not read temperatures below 0 Celsius. DHT22 will but there are many counterfeit ones on the market that seem to have a DHT11 instead. If you do need to read those lower temperature a Dallas temperature sensor like DS18B20 will be a better choice but will require different programming. I use a (counterfeit) DHT22 plus a DS18B20 so I get the temperature from the DS18B20 and the humidity from the DHT22.
