Lesufi now showing his true colours. A fair split of the 10 MEC positions are ANC 5/ DA 4 / FF+ 1 - which is in line with simple mathematical calculation. The current ANC 8 / DA 2 is most definitely not a fair split in line with the voting results.

I believe Solly recorded the negotiations. I would love it if it was shared in public for us to evaluate. The wisdom of the crowd will determine who is the bad guy here.

I think that they are going to choose a tribalist political party that promotes amakhosi nationalism in Gauteng, a party that masquerade as the radical revolutionary left wing party, so they are not interested in the rebuilding of the country and unity that is why the DA is being sidelined, tenders for roads bridges and other buildings require people with expertise and skills, crime crime crime

That’s the problem… Fair play is not expected! Look what Ramaphosa did when he allocated 32 Cabinet Ministers: ANC = 20 DA = 6 That was not a proportional split. Fair play left the chat 30-06-24

It’s because the ANC outmanoeuvred them on the national cabinet. They didn’t see that coming. Ramaphosa even added new ministries to employ more ANC cadres. This is why the DA is now more cautious.

@@Mabe_Tebogo Ramaphosa signed a Statement of Intent agreeing to certain terms and conditions. The DA agreed to support his re-election as President and he agreed that Cabinet Ministers would be appointed in proportion to the votes cast. He then ignored the commitment he had made, showing his supporters that this is the way to get things done. Lesufi is now following the example set by the President. This is how lying and cheating become socially acceptable practice.
