What did the Templar crusaders who traveled to defend Acre have in mind? Immerse yourself in a magical journey with a selection of medieval songs. Neither the rain, nor the cold nor the dark night could stop them. Are you ready to travel to the past?
The Fall of Acre, also called the Siege of Acre, took place in 1291 and resulted in the loss of the city of Acre from Christian hands. It is considered one of the most important battles of the period, and is frequently mentioned by historians as the event that marked the end of the Crusades. When Acre fell, the Crusaders lost their last great stronghold in the Christian Kingdom of Jerusalem. However, they still kept under their control a fortress, to the north, in the city of Tartus (Syria), and made several coastal incursions as well as an attempt to reconquer from the small island of Arwad, which they later also lost in 1302 at the Siege. of Arwad. By then, the Crusaders no longer owned land, cities, or fortresses in the Holy Land.

Hey Playing Epic, I love this music for my stories and worldbuilding. If I could, I would suggest maybe some birds chirping, the occasional horse neigh and maybe leaves rustling underfoot or snow churning under wagon wheels. Not to disturb the music, but to get that crystal clear image of a troop marching to Acre. Deus Vult!

My family is of Wilhelm Of Germany. My Dad has a strong connection to that family as well as being part Dutch. The Wilhelm family Castle is now a historical monument and we all wanna visit our long lost family members. On my mother's side she is Lithuanian and since Lithuanians used to be the last pagans we also have a lot of family over there that we haven't been able to meet. So much that needs to be done and I cannot wait to visit both countries. Just don't know if i should get my Germany citizenship or Lithuania citizenship.

I would treat either one as an investment. Maybe learn some more about the histories, music, language, etc. of each country. If it's of interest to you, German is the easier language, but that's not to say Lithuanian is inaccessible, just a little more 'alien' to English conventions. I have family in Germany too, and intend to finish up my college studies over there. So like I said, treat each one as an PERSONAL investment. What does each one have that serves your needs and interests. What are the benefits of living or making connections in Munich or Berlin over Vilnius or Klaipeda? Only you can answer that.

out of curiosity. why are Americans so obsessed with their heritage when they don't have a clue about said culture in a specific region /upbringing and way of thinking? why does it matter where you come from so many generations ago when you can just be the person you are now without any inbetweens.
