I am ok, just going through a rough life at the moment. Maybe one day I will start making videos again. Just never have the motivation to do them anymore.

Hello Jak not sure if you still make KZfaq videos but I'm interested to know whats your opinion on the recent findings that Ylod was actually caused by bad capacitors on the power rail that sit next to the GPU and CPU. Replacing these capacitors will permanently fix a dead ps3 even with no heat applied to the gpu/cpu

I just watched a video on this subject. Makes total sense. For the longest time I figured the YLOD wasn't caused by solderballs. There were far too many cases that didn't add up. When my first system got the YLOD, it was only after firing up certain games. Different games have different power demands, if the power being supplied to the GPU / CPU differs than what is needed, system will lock up and give the YLOD message.
