Жыл бұрынThe Temple Reef Ronin EXP83-8 is a travel rod in 3 sections that has a pack length of 94cm - ie ITS A LONG TRAVEL ROD!! When put together it’s 8’3” long, casts 170gm suitable for PE6-8 lines, can take 10kg of drag at 45o, Fuji guides/reel seat, EVA handle, the first and last guides are reversed to stop tangles. A Twinpower 14000 sits nicely on this rod.
Annoyingly for the money this rod costs, it only comes in a padded bag and NOT a rigid tube.

Hi, I am thinking of getting one of these. I had not yet due to the long packed length. Initially I thought that was 100cm?? You said it was 94? More importantly did you every try it on stickbaits? Is the tip soft enough for floating stickbaits to give it the beautiful S shape? Thanks Antonio

Being 3 section they are LONG travel rods (allow 100cm in a BIG suitcase!!) That’s why I sold mine, better action rods are available ie the long tip + handle version in a rod tube. Hellou i am thinking about this rod but i am little bit scared about the tip section. Does it twist while you popping? or its stay in line? thank you for answer

Hi there, even after a couple of hours of casting there were zero issues. My only concern, and the reason why I sold the rod, was it’s near 1m long transport length is VERY long. My advice before you buy one is to see if you can find a suitcase it’ll fit in. BTW it doesn’t come in a rigid tube, just a lightly padded rod bag

I have a Daiwa Saltiga 14000 and Im looking for a suitable rod for omani yellowfin tuna do you recommend this rod?

Assuming your Saltiga is the same physical size as a Twinpower 14k, yes, it should be ideal (depending on the size of the YFT!!!)
