i love the parts where the sabers slice the blocks in the background, and a really cool detail they added is that it's depending on what the blocks you have are, meaning that the background is actually different for each difficulty

I never noticed block slicing effects in the lighting, this is so cool

I never got the chance to appreciate it because I was too busy being in severe pain playing the song, but the way it looks like you're moving backwards during the first drop is insane. So many neat effects in this one too - the words and the block cut give me life. Genuinely the coolest environment I've seen to date.

It's literally insane how much they've improved with their backgrounds compared to the first release of Beat Saber. They can customize EVERY ASPECT of these now. EVERYTHING. This, Cathedral and Dragon Force's song are by far my fave bgs in the game now, puts $1.78 to shame. And if this is the new standard for environments I am very excited for the next update. There is such a mysterious energy to the lights' movement in 2:23, and I can't explain what makes them so satisfying to watch AND hear! I can best describe it as a balance between slow, energetic, and... grainy??

I always felt like this environment was very empty, but this level is the one stage where it feels very active. Maybe it’s just cause of the song, but it felt way more like something was going on at all times, like the linkin park 2.0 background.
