This portable power distribution transformer is designed for portability and convenience as well as durability. This portable transformer features one 220V 30A L6-30R receptacle that provides sealed and secure connections for one device. The maximum wattage for all receptacles is 7500W. In addition, the receptacle provides single phase 220V for powering high voltage lighting and equipment without the need for running additional extension cords. The receptacle features a hinged watertight cover protecting the face from rain, water, and moisture when not in use.
The housing on the TX-7500VA-480.3P-220.1P-1X30A is constructed from powder coated steel with a NEMA 3R enclosure rating. The angled base and low center of gravity ensure this low voltage transform does not tip over when in the field. The entire unit is powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. The assembly is mounted atop four swivel polyurethane casters, two standard swivel and two locking swivel, aiding in transportation within the job site. A top located push handle allows operators to guide this unit through the workspace.
The TX-7500VA-480.3P-220.1P-1X30A portable distribution system converts primary three phase 480V AC into secondary single phase 220V AC and is brought in via 10` of 12/4 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cable that is terminated in a blunt cut end. A 16A breaker on the primary side protect the 7.5 KVA transformer. Secondary voltage is distributed via the one 220V 30A L6-30R receptacle. A top located cord management system allows operators to roll up line-in cord when not in use, and roll up the extra slack in the power cable during use.
