This video continues to a step-by-step demonstration of building a 24 foot wooden runabout boat. In this video, I profile the sapele wood laminate stem to the shape of the boat bow.

I built a 10'8 runabout last year. Its a 40/50s style runabout used for boat racing. The hardest part of that build was the fairing of the stem. Especially being my 1st time doing it. So i built a jig to hold it center and it made it easier

Thanks for sharing. I with there was a way for you to include photos with your comment. Would love to see your runabout. With the Stem and now working on the chine top rails, I am spending way more time studying, thinking and planning than actual boat building.

Maybe try adding some wax to the saw blade.

Hi, I see you are twisting the Japanese pulling saw, a little painful to watch ... lol. I should tell you not to force the saw, let the saw do the work, you shouldn't need to force it or even put weight into the sawing. Try with a 24TPI Tennon Saw, as that's saw's back-bone will force you to keep that saw straight, teaching you the proper technique for sawing. Doing that should help you learn to saw easily. Nice work BTW
