We did it again... We made a "HUGE" purchase on Temu. This time we got the discounts, but it didn't take us very far. We spent around $100 on various fishing tackle that was "valued" at $290. I think how happy someone is with products from a place like this depends on what they're used to. If someone has only ever used cheaper gear because that's all they can afford, they'll probably be happy with this stuff. If it's cheap and functions, great. If you're someone who is used to high end gear, you'll probably think it's all trash regardless if it technically works or not.

I got a sougayilang reel, collapsible rod and rainbow line for like 15 total with coupons, and went fishing with it a couple days ago. Caught about 15 bass .5-3 lbs with no issues! Yeah, it's not the highest quality by any means, but I can keep it stored away in my car so I can go fishing whenever I want! Would recommend to someone just wanting a cheap rod to throw in a vehicle so they don't have to carry their nice stuff all the time.

I have bought about $50US after all the "discounts" worth of jigs, hooks, and soft plastics for ultralight fishing from Temu. I have no complaints and im slamming dinks better then a lot of the brand name stuff i have. Many of the plastics are more durable then brand name. Im not going to waste my money on their reels, line, and combos though. I have the sunmiles in orange and have caught bass, blue gill, crappie, and blue catfish on them. They are seriously durable and have great action.

Their cheap swimbaits work great, at least in my purchase. Good spinner baits too. I got a 16 dollar reel, it did have brass gears but the magnetic break wouldn't do anything. A 2 min rig job and it is actually a decent reel. Caught a 7lb catfish the other morning using it.

I just placed a Temu order the other day. I'll definitely have confidence castings these, but the temu confidence killer will kick in after the first retrieve. Because I must hate my life lol

Ok i wasnt on board with the whole temu thing but those sunmile micro paddletails have me second guessing my decision haha would definitely be cool to see an on the water test of all these lure

I checked Temu out. I got 2 ultralight reels. They seem fine. I don't spend a lot on my stuff. They didn't have grease in them. I bought 2 poles as a back up. Seem fine. Nought fake creek hoppers, they sink. I will put grease on the reels and see how they work.

Location matters with these lures could you use it in florida or texas no But in small pond in ohio they will probably hold up okay

The offbrand SPRO looking wakebait rats they have are good, I’ve caught some fish on them. And the Swimbait with the prop inside is actually a pretty good bait as well

You might be able to change the angle on those replaceable blades on the pliers you got so they close better

I ordered the kastking black hawk 2 telescopic fishing rod, saw someone on u tube tested it out, looks good well made not cheap looking, it's 50$ on Amazon, I used it and I was impressed on the rod

I have a Hautton baitcaster, I got it from Amazon a while back and I paid less for it there than you guys did for that one on Temu. It's definitely cheap, but it works. The only thing really "wrong" with it is the paint started chipping pretty easily. Personally I wouldn't shop there. Not because I don't like cheap stuff, all my fishing gear is on the budget end, but because there are just _soooo_ many stories of people having their payment info stolen after they shopped there. The same thing that went on with Wish. That, and the fact that it's the same cheap stuff, is why I call Temu Wish 2.0.

I was looking at those little paddles! you have to tell me how well they actually work! I did pick up a few of the underspin from Proberos JIG018a and JIG018e I was very impressed with them . I did also pick up a few crank baits... jury is still out on those.

I got some stand-up jig hooks that are a knockoff of an owner product where they make your bait stand up at a 45° angle. And I was actually really pleasantly surprised on those

I got a nice jig and a couple reels from temu all work amazing and the jig is pretty much a replica of the googan squad and it held up against numerous fish including a 3.24 lb smallmouth, they are definitely great budget wise if you read the items and check reviews a lot of people add pictures when they review

Some of the brands available from china are pretty good. I've never bought from temu, but some of the brands from Ali express are great, supercontinent, johncoo, purelure, kastking, aoushi. Some really good stuff.

Recommend weights and sinkers. I had bad luck with those hook keepers. They pop off easy ,just annoying.

It’s a hit or miss, I bought a BK GoldSharking 7000 reel for 11$ it’s amazing, full metal and great hard plastic

A ton of the stuff is good, but you do have to be cautious. I made a $50 order and everything was good except for the hooks and jig heads. They were mislabeled, showed false pictures, and way too small for bass fishing, but still… that was like $4.50 of my total order. Threw out my whopper plopper hooked up on my second cast, threw the Bellow out and caught a bass on my first cast. So they will catch!

Those hook keepers are bad even for the high end ones. Better off taking a 2 foot of braid and wrapping and securing to your rod

The big jerk baits fron the bear claw brand on there are LEGIT! B&U has quality bladed jigs and spinner baits. Honestly im happy all tje youtubers show the crappy baits off the site. Itll keep everyone away from my favoite baits on there!
