Melissa, after owning cats for over 30 years, I have found out that most of them prefer a simple box to jump into, a few toys, catnip once in awhile, and a snuggly cat bed. Every single cat has loved the laser pointer more than anything. I quit buying a lot of cat paraphernalia because I end up giving it away.

Apart from the dolls cot Lola has the pillow next to mine on the bed, also sleeps on top of the bed between my legs, she has a cat bed on top of my fridge freezer, and a throw is on a dining chair for her also. 🙄😁 spoilt ??? No what makes you think that 😂💐

@@Vangilder2 I guess it would still work for disabled people who can't use a manual can opener and don't have much money to spend, but I agree that I would buy a better quality one. It still opened the can enough to be able to get the contents out.

I can say that the can opener is hands off and should go all the way around- I bought mine from Amazon ( along with all the other new types of can openers)- and I Love the no hands opener!! It goes all the way around and the top comes completely off- amazing! As for kitty accessories- you either have a cat that likes soft & fluffy or you don’t! My kitties like boxes and cat trees that only have carpet on them. Cardboard scratchers are all accepted… you never know until you Buy and Try!

my baby fur brother Cody the aDORKable stinker kitty doesnt like boxes that much! however our other kitty Honda went crazy for them! I brought home a HUGE box for him and he went straight for it and had it scratched up within a week or so! lol I work at Walmart and keep seeing these giant boxes like the ones the freezies and watermelons are in and am like Honda would love those boxes but sadly he passed back in 2019! I hope the next kitty we get loves boxes because I would bring a bunch of those HUGE boxes home and make a castle for them! lol

I still buy those for my grandson and he loves them. An orange Push-up was his first ever taste of ice cream. They now come in grape and cherry flavors too but nothing beats orange!

Just wanted to let you know I have a can opener like that an they work best with expensive batteries like Duracell they won't really work with cheap batteries. If that's what your using. @@TheCheapChick

You could still try out the bed and see if he likes it. My cat doesn't like normal pet beds that they just lay on, but we found out she likes to burrow underneath blankets and clothes to nap, so we bought her a bed similar to the one you bought and it turns out, she likes it! She likes to be like, enclosed in something I guess. She also likes sleeping in paper bags just as much lol.

My cat loves to play with a shoestring or the felt pads that go under the legs of furniture. He prefers a cat tree or a braided rug for sleeping but will snuggle into a folded towel in winter. He loves it when he's allowed to sleep on my bed. He'd rather become an insomniac than put a paw on a pet bed.

The foot rocker thing is amazing. I use one under my desk to prop up my feet and rock them so I dont get cramps when Im on the computer at work. You should try when you are editing. It is not good for you to sit cross legged. I am the type that loves to sit on my ankles, this taught me how to sit like an adult hahaha

Tip for keeping towels soft - don’t use fabric softener! Sounds silly but it messes with the fibers and can reduce its absorbency. Xxxx

I had a can opener like that..I had to clip it on and hold it up and the can would turn. make sure the magnet is on the lid.

Ok the can Opener you need to hold on and help guide it using little pressure. It wont sound as sick lol and its still way easier then a manual one😮

I bought one of those can openers from Temu. Between the fact that it's so loud and that you sometimes have to go around a couple of times to get the can opener I gave up on it when the batteries ran out and didn't put more in. My hands are awfully weak due to nerve damage so I still want to get another electric can opener but that one isn't it for me. 😂

Hello Melissa old English lady here. Love Temu Mondays, always guarantees to brighten any Monday. I do have one of those Electric Can Openers , not Temu, and I just press once and it does it thing and lid comes off with opener. My cat would never sleep in the expensive bed my son bought him. Wouldn't use the scratch pole, but the cool mat from Temu he really liked in the hot weather. Another great one ❤❤❤👵🏴🌹🌹🌹

I have a can opener that looks and works similar to that one. I think mine is from Kitchen Mama. It should only need one time around the can. Mine doesn't stop. I have to press the button again to make it stop. I think that the one you got must be low quality or defective. I hope you are able to get one that does work right. My wrists and hands are so happy to not have to use a normal can opener!

With the can opener if you have it on properly the butt comes up. When it gets to where you started it pops and drops back down. Then you push the button and it backs up so you can take the lid off.

Melissa give the box some time. Laave it out to air out. I had a similar expereince and eventually she calmied down and after about 2-3 weeks she came around. I can't get her out of it now. ;)

I believe your old front door mat is for the kitchen so its soft to stand on while washing dishes, or even in a garage when youre standing fixing something at a work bench.

Cat bed is cute, but sometimes cats take time to scope things out. Don't give up just yet. There is two different types of cats, ones who like to be high up and others who like to be bush cats that r low to the ground.

Give me a manual can opener any day. Just make sure you clean the cutting part. People recommend to cut foil to keep it sharp. All cats are different. The cat bed is something I wouldn’t sleep on. 🤣

Hi Melissa. The foot thing is cool. Can you let me know if it works. I have the same problem. With the can-opener it is normal to leave a piece stuk. I have a cat from 6 weeks . She is now 16 years. Some toys she plays like this, some over 3 mounts and some over 2 years. 😂 It helps if you put cat snacks in it. Then he founds out it is not scarry.. maybe he goes in. Nice hail. Have a great day. Melissa give it time cause my cat Is 6 years old and it took him 4 months to get him to use his bed and now he prefers to sleep with us. I even started feeding him too cause he sees me feeding dog his treats so my cat wants me to feed him so just give him time

Melissa, sprinkle some cat nip in/on the beds and houses to entice Polo to get in/on them. If he isn't a cat nip cat, and some aren't, try a favorite hard food or treat.

My cats are just as weird, I have a cat tree, I put a pillow over where the hole is that's there for an extra water dish, they avoided that spot for about 2 years now. I took the pillow off and stapled a rough piece of carpet over it, they fight over the spot now. As for toys, they'll watch cat TV all day long, but I pick up a toy of any kind and try to play with them? NOOOOPE! NOT having that!

I want the kitty bed for my baby fur brother Cody kitty and baby fur sisters Sugar the Sassy Chihuahua and Lucy Lou the hopping chihuahua. but my mom said no more beds! Ive bought them a bunch from Temu and said there's not enough room for any more! lol I think Palo likes the scratcher from your mom because "grandma" bought it! just tell him grandma ordered him stuff off of Temu and see if he likes it better! lol yes cats are very picky! Cody will love one wet food then the next he puts his nose up in the air like he's too good for it! I love that lil stinker! He's one of the most aDORKable kitties Ive ever met! the chihuahuas LOVE cat nip! almost more than Cody does! Ive never seen a dog go so darn crazy for cat nip! they will chase Cody away so they can get the cat nip I give him even though I give them their own piles of it! lol

With the cat bed have you tried putting a very tiny amount of cat nip on the bed? It worked wonderfully with every single cat I've had

If he prefers going to one of you over the other the chosen human should wear a t shirt or similar making sure you sweat up a bit in it then put it out on a blanket or something,if he sleeps on it don't wash it till he gets used to it. You'd be surprised how quickly he will change his habits.
