I lost my parakeet like you lost your parrot. He was fine when he went to bed and died during the night. I was living in an old flat and he was fine till it started getting cold. I believe he died from the fumes of the old furnace we had. Birds are highly sensitive that’s why they used them in the mines. I didn’t realize that at the time.

Don’t feel bad I actually do the same thing with groceries.
