I'm glad Ole's gone, but one of his criticisms/characteristics was that if he found a team that won a couple of games, he tended to avoid making any changes at all until things went pear shaped. Hopefully Erik will realise that in the Prem you sometimes need horses for courses.

Mark is right. We need to set standards to chase. There is still no ambition. Our players are demonstrating they are competing with themselves. I would love to hear the players and ETH say out loud a concrete standard for this season. It can be reaching top 4, or winning some trophy. As of now I don’t see they have that kind of target in mind.

I agree. By his statement, he implied that Ronaldo does not add anything significant to the team, if at all Ronaldo's presence at 4-0 does not matter. Ten Hag said that to dodge criticism for treating CR7 bad. A good coach with backbone who believes in Ronaldo would have made subs immediately at the start of the 2nd half to bring on CR7, and even change formation to suit the play. Ronaldo should consider an exit in January for interested clubs.

I’m surprised with your response about the Bruno answer, I found it enduring and honest. You can go on and on about lowering standards, but you can still have high standards AND realization/honesty of the truth of the situation. You can start creating a high standard at United again but at the same time understand the squad and how much players need to get out and come in.

We have improved under Ten Hag and I think he is the right man who can take us back to winning premier league. But he will put himself under pressure if he keeps faith in Rashford, Bruno and Maguire due to their technical skills and mentality. We cannot play high line with Maguire. Rashford and Bruno don't have the football intelligence to play possesion based football and can't hold on to the ball. If he relies on these three and Shaw, it will result in his downfall.

Unpopular opinion, perhaps Bruno knows the limitations of his team mates and realizes that they are not good enough and expecting them to punch above their weight is unrealistic, as we all witnessed in the past two years. These players have a ceiling in ability and mindset and expecting them to demand more of themselves publicly only makes them look more of a prat when they are on the end of humbling defeats. They are bottle jobs the lot, they lost many semi finals under Ole and they (manager, media and players) admitted that it was a mental block. We need 10 new players as Ragnick clearly stated for the simple fact that these players dont have the mettle to succeed. Donny's likeability is not good enough for him to play for Man u. The few times he has been given the opportunity he has failed to impress. He must also be underperforming at training sessions. He is that type of player who can look very busy on the pitch with little effectiveness

I think bruno’s answer of looking at themselves is a diplomatic one more than anything. Of course they are comparing themselves to other teams, but probably not to Man City. There’s no point doing that with City being so far ahead. United are probably looking more to the teams that have recently shown more consistency in finishing top 4 than they have - like chelsea and spurs. P. S. It would be foolish for Bruno to say ‘we want to be better than man city’. Ideally, of course, you would want that, but getting to those levels is outside the control of man utd players and their manager. They need investment for that.

What Fernandes said there is to differentiate between the sane and delusional amongst the fanbase who support the club is going to eleven years without the title and six years running with no trophy.

Ten Hag in with all his credentials lacks one simple thing is how to manage big players like Ronaldo Casemiro and that's where ZIDANE succeeded. Zizou kept it very simple rotated players in away games and played to players strengths rather than chasing the buzzword PRESS. Football is very simple but these days Press is the Buzzword anyone who doesn't associated with that is failure.

Completely disagree with the stance of Bruno’s comments. At the beginning of the season when thinking about our targets for the season, it was never a position in the league, it was plain and simply to see a progression in our style of play and see this club actually become a team. Mark has clearly forgotten that very quickly.

Mark is wrong. The greats never became great by focussing on others. If you listen to the greatest athlete's in the world, you hear them say that they don't pay attention to what others are doing, they focus on themselves and what they can improve in their own game 🤷🏾‍♂️

Too many Ronaldo questions, again. Also, they ask about belief… if Man City et al. lose, it’s because the other team were great.. never city were bad. If Utd lose, they are a pile of rubbish. Not making excuses but they don’t make it any easier with the bias.
