Striker, midfielder and defender analysis similar to Ben's input on GKs would be appreciated. Next season a fight for top4, and anywhere between 4th and 8th possible. All depends on clear out, some players taking the next step (Mainoo, Garnacho and Højlund) and make or break for this season's newcomers (Onana, Mount). Shaw almost 29 btw, hopefully 3-4 good years in him. I guess 150k a week is not enough for us to sell him (doubt transfer fee of more than 25m), instead use him as a backup for CB and LB. Curious if he can sort out his injuries and illness, just too many games he's missing every year to rely solely on him for starting positions. A shame tho. I think we can sell most players if we're brutal on them having underperformed and are surplus to requirements. Some insist they can play in systems not comparable to their skillset, just on merit and experience. I like role models and good influence in dressing room, but it is reasonable to want change especially since some of them throwing managers under the bus (Jose, Ole and Ralph). If we can't play the way the manager wants in every game, we gotta stop shoehorning in players - no matter how good they are as individuals.
