@@Ginggernaut I agree with you but when photoshop came out in the 90's everyone freaked out then too. A lot of people lost jobs. AI is just another tool. I'm glad that we can have people create things and get interested in art.

@@Feldkampinator Photoshop doesn't draw or create by itself from stolen pictures. Yes, PS is a tool as a pencil or a brush, as if you don't know how to deal with composition, light, structure, shape, perspective, [...], its just gonna look bad. I don't know what's your knowledge on that, but compare AI to PS is a lack of comprehension of drawing/painting skills, and by definition, essence. (Not judging you personaly)

@@Feldkampinator But hey, we're here for the music anyway, and RC° had always took some movie, anime, video games scenes to put a visual on the mixtapes. So in a sens its not new. Just saying that if the chanel needs its own original visuals, as RC is about the underground and indie music production, why its not the same for the visuals ? Not a big deal here, but its a genuine concern for me.

@@Ginggernaut Much love to you, I am concerned as well. I do not make a living from artistry though so feel free to stop here if you aren't interested in my take. There are many things to unpack here but I want to start by saying you should look into how these models access the data they've been trained on rather than assuming it is simply drawing anything. It can be argued that training them on others work is immoral, but when you understand how the AI synthesizes the images and that it doesn't even have access to the original work, you'll start to get a picture where this is no different than taking your own inspiration and creating work. If you don't believe me then go play around with an AI model if you have not already and you'll notice that while you can create amazing things, getting the fine detail and exactly what you want from it is still impossible. It still requires some of the skills you mentioned to create good results. Is it incredibly easy? Yes. Does it feel like cheating? Yes. Does it discount people that have put in the actual work? Very much yes! I personally see this as no different to any other technological progress. People will lose jobs. People will be upset. I don't see this getting rid of serious artists, I see this as being a tool for serious artists to create things even better.
