I love this story, T1E2H3. It allows Diesel 10 to exist within the Thomas universe, or at least the TEOS universe, while also incorporating some elements of TATMR in it as well. Great job, bro.

Even with deleting about half the footage, I barely saw and inconsistencies or weird happenings. Well done sir. Brings me back to the Nostalgic NWR Origins.

A solid story. The part where Gordon has a blank look on his face after Diesel 10 rescues him is a nice scene. It helps him to analyze Diesel 10's true nature.

Thanks for all the kind comments! This was challenging but fun to make! I should address that the ending is not meant to be a cliffhanger, just an ominous foreshadowing of the future. There is no "Part 2". This is just meant to show how Diesel 10 came to the island in my canon. I intentionally left the details vague (like Diesel 10 and Lady) to give him more mysterious vibes and a reason so that the engines wouldn't know he was related to Boggiston, which is something I didn't think clearly in Wrath on the Rails. There will be one or two more of these prequel "specials" this year. Diesel 10 won't be the focus but he may make a cameo or something.

Great story you wrote there. You actually gave Diesel 10 more depth and complexity. Love how you given him a traumatic backstory that explains why he’s hostile and aggressive towards the steam locomotives and which leads to his somewhat redemption arc by saving Gordon’s life from falling of that viaduct.

This was a great way to change up the magic railroad into something very interesting and good. Love it keep up the good work!

This story was great! A perfect explanation for how Diesel 10 ended up on Sodor in the TEOS universe, and I like how you worked in references to TATMR while still keeping it mostly realistic. I wasn't expecting to see Diesel 10 save Gordon on the viaduct - the first of many moral dilemmas he would pose for Sir Topham Hatt!

What a surprise for tonight! I just came back from doing 3 hours of homework and studying at my college library for an exam tomorrow so the shower I just took and this will be the perfect way to wind down before bed! Edit: I loved this! I like how you incorporated aspects of TATMR into your canon.

This was a surprise to see! I like the unanswered questions about Diesel 10's history. As the audience, we know a bit more than the engines but even we don't know every single detail! Very clever idea having Lady be a preserved private engine on a heritage railway. The ending where Diesel 10 climbs Gordon's Hill toward the dark horizon is probably one of the most mysterious and chilling scenes I've seen in one of your videos. It's like your out in the woods and away in the distance, you suddenly think you just saw Bigfoot or the Jersey Devil duck behind a tree for a split second and a feeling of dread comes onto you and yet you become suspicious. That's the feeling right there for that scene.

I love how this video is almost “Season 5” styled. Especially including the Miner’s Halt from A Big Surprise For Percy. And Arry and Bert and Derek who were introduced in that Season. I like to head canon that this should’ve been the first Thomas movie not Magic Railroad.

Same for 8:19 Also, really good way to include “the magic railroad” in your series, with it being a preserved line through a forest. Also references the “magic” of Henry’s forest. No way that’s a coincidence haha.

Even after 10 years, Thomas1Edward2Henry3 continues to amaze his audience. As for this video, it was interesting to hear your take on the “Thomas and the Magic Railroad” story by making the Magic Railroad less of a magical dimension and more of a preservation railway, as well as the incorporation of Mr. Boggiston, who I assume is taking the place of PT Boomer in this universe. Although I do wish individual voice actors were involved in this production, like in videos prior, I can understand why. And with that being said, I, Andrew Homer, say goodbye, and wish you the best of luck with whatever life has in store for you.

Really impressive. Another alternate story of Diesel 10 coming to Sodor. Interesting to have him already chase Lady across the viaduct before, with the mainland having a magic railway. And 'Arry and Bert are there rather than Splatter and Dodge.
