i partly agree and partly don’t. they’re both very different but also have some similar qualities that make them amazing singers and dancers. taemin and ten both have a lot of respect for each other, and ten admires taemin a lot. i’m not sure that it’s wise to say that he’s just as talented as taemin simply because taemins been in the industry for 14 years and is more fully rounded. i say this as a ten and taemin stan. ten doesn’t have the years of experience that taem does with singing, dancing, performing, etc, and therefore shouldn’t be put on taemins level. ten is super talented. i agree, sm doesn’t give him enough opportunities to focus on vocals and develop the skills that will make him a phenomenal solo artist. i understand what you’re saying and that you’re not trying to diss taemin, so i don’t wanna argue with you or anything. it’s just that taemin has done, gone through, and accomplished way more. because of that, he’s the legend that he is. taemin was also the first male solo artist under SM and made his solo debut when he was only 21, which is amazing. i don’t think ten will be the next taemin, i think he’ll be the first ten. he’s unique, just like taemin is.

@@maddyknauss3657 I agree with you. I don't think i worded my comment right, but I agree that Taemin has nearly thrice the experience in the industry compared to Ten. But what I'm trying to say here is that if SM gives him the opportunities to be able to show case his talents more then he can accomplish much much more. Taemin and ten have a lot of similarities but they're also very different from each other. I used Taemin as an example here because he was able to finally break through and show his full potential to the world through his solo work, just like Taemin, I think Ten would be able to show his full potential and all his artistic abilities if he gets a solo.
