I don’t know if this counts, but it’s becoming a thing that has become sacred in my routine. I have a 20 minute drive home from work everyday. I choose what songs I’m going to listen to with intention, and as a I drive home, I sing, listen, and just allow myself to release the things I’ve unconsciously picked up during the day. Any stress, any drama, I try my best to leave behind me, and just to have 20 minutes fully in myself. My drive has become a sacred time. I refuse to call anyone or do anything other than have my time to check in with myself. And then I come home, and I live with my partner, and we figure out what fun thing we’re going to do for the night. But that 20 minute drive has become a precious ritual of self care. I’m normally someone who’s very scared to be alone, I don’t always have the best relationship with myself, so enjoying that drive everyday feels like a victory. And it wasn’t until I watched this video that I realized that taking time like that, making a ritual of checkin and self care, could be considering putting magic in the mundane. Thank you Frankie for always broadening my perspective.

I really relate to this. I've started to wake up earlier for work so I have plenty of time to shower, do my makeup, and have my coffee (stirred with intent!) sitting out on the balcony. The sun isn't up when I wake up, but the birds are, and their songs lend me the energy to get through my morning shift. The 15 minute drive to work gives me time to fully clear my mind, along with listening and singing to music to get my vocal chords warmed up for conversation with people (I'm not great at talking and have a hard time speaking sometimes, so this really helps).

Music is insanely powerful, that’s why it can be an amazing tool, but like a hammer can be used to build, it can also destroy. It’s probably safer to meditate without it but it can guide you in a certain direction if needed

I love that idea. I'm tracing my family tree and I feel very connected to my ancestors of 200 years ago. I can see that there are many strong women in my bloodline who lost their husbands at a young age and ran pubs and shops alone whilst bringing up their children. I often think about them but I never thought of reading to them. It seems a wonderful way of remembering and sharing with them. Thank you. Blessed be 🌛🌕🌜x

A few of the witchy things that I do that you didn't mention are: 1. I have a straw broom that I have enchanted and carved my name into. I use it with intention to cleanse my home each time. 2. I make my own household cleaners with 50/50 white vinegar and water and add 12 to 15 drops of essential oil. I often use lavender and sage so that it's a perfect magical cleansing spray. I keep a piece of quartz inside the bottle as well. I often just use it to spray my curtains and pillows to make them smell really good. 3. When my house is smelling kind of stale and stinky I will put white vinegar into cups and place one in each room for half an hour to fully cleanse the air. The vinegar absorbs all nasty smells and you can pour them right down the drain. It works really well if you cook fish or burn popcorn. 4. I add a cup of white vinegar to every single one of my laundry loads and it helps to brighten my clothes while also being a generational remedy to avoid using bleach which is very caustic to our energy and clothing. I always begin each load by saying blessed be and pressing the start button. It sounds silly but I feel it's very important to cleanse our clothes as well as our minds and bodies. We spend every day in these garments and they should be properly taken care of.

I do a daily practice of silence. I think people underestimate doing nothing for at least 5 minutes a day how refreshing it is. No phone, no devices, just me and the silence for a few moments each day. I started doing this to help alleviate anxiety, stress and overwhelm I was dealing with its lowered my blood pressure, helps me get restful sleep and over all makes me a better witch so I HIGHLY recommend adding at least 5 minutes a day of nothing.

Do what you can when you can, no one practice is the same. I have ADHD and sometimes don't have spoons. Also, rituals and spells do not need to be complex and ceremonial. My most common daily rituals are active meditation and grounding( often with my toddler) and stirring intention into drinks or food. Are there days I do more, yes, but some days that's all I've got in me to handle especially as a new educator this year too. You got this!💜

I struggle to keep my space nice when I'm depressed. You can carve out a bit of space as a sanctuary, maybe a comfy chair and enough space around it to put a drink. You can make it as simple or special as you want. Doesn't matter if it's tiny, once you have it you can start expanding it. I've got mine from just an armchair to half my living room.

Hearing all the little ways I can incorporate magic into my daily mundane practices is so encouraging. I tend to forget to do anything because I used to approach magic with this "it has to be completely separate from everything else" mentality. Thankfully, I've outgrown that for the most part. I've realized that magic is a personal thing and there's no "wrong way" to do it. (Not saying that there aren't rules and guidelines. Just saying there's no right or wrong way to inherently practice.) A thing I've kinda picked up in cleansing myself (spiritually as well as physically) in the shower. I imagine the suds represent any stagnant/yucky energy I've picked up through out the day and I watch just disappear down the drain. I also charm my clothes with intention. And if I'm feeling really in need of it I'll draw a sigil on myself or on paper to carry around for the day.

I cannot express how refreshed I am to find a fellow witch who believes in mental health practices and the value therein. Witchcraft has immensely deep roots in mental health and understanding the self to understand others and be the best steward to the world we live in. I love your energy and how easily you can explain the facets of witchcraft in an easily digestible way. Blessings to you, love! I personally am an apothecary and have a focus on the sciences an physical health. Growing up with a mother in nursing really gave me an intense respect for the body and how to care for it. I love personalizing tea for each individual to best help them through illness or alleviate their symptoms of chronic disease.

I believe I'm lowkey connected with the stars and when they are visible, I will get this special feeling and if I notice it, it is time for sitting in the window (if not possible or if there is too many ppl outside sit/ lay down right down on the floor) and look at the stars. It's pretty much a meditation, and I usually start with music and take the headphones out after a while.

Other witchy drink tips: ✏ I draw a sigil into my mug with honey, condensed milk, syrups, etc, then pour my drink and stir that sigil's intention in. 🍵 As a kitchen witch I also have certain ingredients pre-charmed for quick and effortless magick later, this is like lavender honey or rose sugar, it's easier to make than you think. Flavoured salts are also good for food. 🧘‍♂️ I actually ground with tea, my job is to think of nothing but the experience of my tea, the focus on all the senses on my tea for in the mug and even inside myself. If I do this with my sleepy tea I get so relaxed and ready for bed.

@@lesleconsdechoses4635 Hi, it's super simple, get dried food grade rose petals, grind them into a powder (you use a spice grinder, coffee grinder, or mortar and pestle your choice) and then mix the powder into a jar of sugar. I try to go about a 1:3 rose to sugar ratio as rose is a strong taste but you go by your open taste. For when and how to add intention, that's up to you, but I recommend visualising the intent while grinding in a mortar and pestle or to tell the rose what your intent is before mixing in clockwise. I also like to label my sugar and add a sigil to the label.

I also take some protection talismans with me and surround myself with the white imaginary sphere or mantle, especially at the crowded places like underground. If I need more protection, besides I use protective mudras like "Shambala's shild" (nobody actually notices it but it really helps me). Also if I take some medicines, I additionally fill the water or the medicine itself with healing intention.

I have to say it, your takes on practicing as a spoony witch and neurodivergent witch has been so refreshing. So much when I started studying years ago that held me back was the expectation in so many books and teachers and other practitioners for a strict daily practice made me feel like such a failure. I have horrible chronic back issues, ADHD, chronic fatigue and my craft for years had to take a back burner. And now I feel like that's okay! It took me so long to realize that my practice is MINE and won't look like everyone else's and it will look different every day and some days and times would be better than others. Hearing a witch I look up to so much validate that for me has been LIFE CHANGING. So thank you ❤️❤️❤️

My daily practice during zero spoon periods of my life are sleeping with crystals or other spiritual tools near my bed and anointing myself with a protective oil before leaving the house (on the days that I leave the house). Meditation has become crucial for me too, but I try and vary the way I do it depending on my energy levels… so meditation for me can be as “straightforward” as washing the dishes or as elaborate as performing energy work or astral travel. It’s more about re-establishing connection than going through any motions. I loved this video and love your continual emphasis on building a sustainable practice!

This a video reminded me of something my therapist always emphasizes, which is: ‘Should’ thoughts are distorted thinking- ‘should’ according to whom? Is it a ‘real’ standard, such as a law, or a different, irrelevant, influence? You are what you are and that’s okay; you do not have to be anything else. For the past few full moons I had a list of things planned, and I had a low spoon each time. Researching is my favorite low spoon daily practice, because even if I have no energy to do anything, reading or watching a video even is very easy. Even if you read like a paragraph, it’s still something.

What you said about repairing your relationship with food really hit for me. I dont have celiac, but I'm a type 1 diabetic. Through finding my spirituality and embracing it, it's strangely helped me take back control over my body even though that wasnt really even my goal starting out. You might not be able to control the curve balls your body throws at you, but you can certainly control how you respond.

My form of daily practice is wearing Lord Lucifer's sigil and jewelry that connects me to my ancestors. Because of the crazy schedule and currently being very low on spoons, it's pretty much the only thing I have strength for. Yet I am beyond grateful for their understanding. I get signs every now and then (confirmed through tarot) that make me appreciate their presence in my life even more. Thank you for this video, so many great ways to incorporate magical into mundane🖤

My practice has been very hazy because I haven’t been doing much due to mental illness but I feel calmer now and feel more able to practice. So thank you for this I definitely need to ground more because I’m overstimulated easily

Great video. I just started watching videos on witch craft that pop up in my feed. So far videos that are on the natural way or instinctual are popping up. Which helps me to understand why I do what I do. I didn’t know that I was enchanting my jewelry or my coffee. Or the glamour with my skin care. It really has opened my mind that in essence we are all practicing witches we just put a different label on it. I look forward to more videos.

i come from a pretty secular background so definitely definitely relate to fusing the mundane with the magickal. i have a morning routine which is very sacred to me and has done wonders for my mental health, personally! when i wake up, i take care of my dog's needs first and foremost, then "spiff" up the home with intention to keep it clean and cleansed, then sit down in the bathroom and do a 10 minute breathwork session followed by an ice/cold bath or shower for around 15 minutes, with some spiritually significant (to me anyway) music playing. i'm very acclimated to the cold and i can never get the water near freezing because i don't have enough ice packs so no worries about hypothermia lol. cold therapy has helped in so many more ways than one and as someone with ADHD, the first few minutes in that bath truly zaps my brain into the present moment and is the most effective way i've found to quiet my mind. after that depending on how much energy i have that day i'll try to get a forest walk in as well, but unfortunately i do that less often than i would like ): spellwork is seldom for me but i prefer to work with sigils and charms most of the time. i haven't tried stirring intention into my tea, but i've heard of it before from the witch of wonderlust and it sounds perfectly doable so i might start implementing it! great video as always, much love 💕

something thats super easy to do is at night when youre going around and checking to make sure doors are all locked you can take a second to visualize any negative energy or spirit or whatever that isnt wanted going out the door and locking it can be like a mini ward to keep it out :) its a super simple way of connecting the mundane to the magickal and kind of helped me understand how to make magickal connections on your own cuz locking the door is a mundane material activity to keep things and people from coming into your home but when you add that visualization youre taking that lock that already has that connection in your brain of safety or protection and making it a spiritual representation of keeping out unwanted energy

I unintentionally grounded the other day. It was hot and I didn’t want to be outside but my partner wanted to be outside and hangout before I had to go to work. I was literally in like a bratty mood lol but I sat in the grass and the second I took my shoes off and felt the grass in between my toes I felt better. It was a very clear indication that I was supposed to be doing that. I wasn’t in a bad mood afterwards:)

@@donna6686 you may say I won’t enter the gates of Heaven, but you are so wrong. Priests use sage cleansing on spaces, and so do I. Does that mean priests won’t enter the gates of Heaven? Churches have bowls of holy water in them, and I make holy water and other waters. Does that mean those whole churches won’t get into Heaven? If your answer is that they will but I won’t, then please ask yourself why you think this. Is it because they are doing it all through Jesus Christ?? Because I am as well, so that would mean no difference between my practice and journey with spirituality and these churches and religious figures.

I was just writing down a list of my witchcraft practice this morning, and it turned into looking at my daily practice. Coincidence? Just the Universe winking at me. :p As my daily practice, I like to light a candle in an oil burner with essential oils as an offering to Hecate and the spirits, and I meditate for 30 minutes as a way of communing with them and being open to their messages. I absolutely LOVE that routine because it puts me in the right mindset for the day. I do see many images and scenarios in my mind, and it may not make sense, but my mind has grown quieter over time and I feel calmer and get more things done. I also feed the birds and cats and I infuse Reiki into...almost every single little witchy thing I do :p Right now, making Moon Water with thunderstorm water. I will use it to bless and annoint myself, my space, the plants, and the spirits as a libation. Forgot to mention, I bodybuild and consider it as a part of my craft. It is a way of honoring Hecate and showing inner and outer strength, growing and scultping myself into the witch I meant to be, as Natures will. It's also self care, and really positive. Never been better.

I love consciously drawing for grounding, as well as meditation and breathing exercises. I love to walk in nature and connect to all my senses. Connecting to myself, inner child and nature is very powerful for me. Tarot and Oracle cards are great tools to understand us better, interpret and help with clarity. Singing and Chanting and dancing is also great to connect to the moment. Thank you for your video, it inspires me to also share what helps for me. :)) Life is not easy and Inner work is not easy as well, but being on this path knowing everyone has their own unique individual way, and this is ok, we are in this together. This helps me to relax and not rush.
