This version is a composite of the 3 versions on the DVD. Each version of the scene is a little different, allowing me to switch between versions to remove sound effects, but maintain the music. I edited it so that the minimal amount of sound effects are heard.
This is the song that plays during the laser scene of the Tenacious D movie. I did not post it for a long time because I could not figure out if it was Tenacious D or the film's composer, Andrew Gross. After listening to the commentary, film score, and various other spiffy bits, I decided it was probably by The D. Though I'm still unsure.
My logic is that it is scene specific, not orchestration, features Jack's voice, and features lyrics like the D would write. Though it does deviate from their usual style, the same can be said about "Papagenu." It is also not listed in the end credits, but neither are some of the tarot card sequences. Still not sure if its them though, let me know if you know.
