@@ribbytrivia I have 250 Mbps internet but when speedtest with this router Tenda F3, it’s only about 70 Mbps maximum. That’s weird when its specs is N300 Mbps. Too far behind the specs

I'm not sure, but it's probably just the 2.4Ghz and the 5Ghz access points created by the tenda router

sir will it work on prepaid wifi that needs a sim or load subscription? and what if the prepaid wifi has only a 10mbps, what speed will the tenda produce if it is connected?

Yes. It can be an additional access point to any modem. It will only get its connection from the source. It doea not produce a connection of its own. So the tenda's connection will always be dependent on source. It can only broadcast the same speed as the source or lower. It cannot be greater.

It's just a router. It is not an ISP, just an independent, stand alone router.

How big is the wifi radius? We have our router on the 1st floor and we will put it on the second floor. Will it cover the whole second floor? Thank you for your answer!

That depend how big your 2nd floor is, the location of the router, and how many walls and kind of walls you have. Based on my setup, radius is about 5 meter for full bar - that's even with a double sided wood wall. If you add a concrete wall or go further, it will reduce. The weakest signal (almost unusable at this point) I can get is about 10 meters away and between 2 concrete walls. Without that 2 concrete walls, I think it will still be a decent signal

How can we increase users limit? My f3 wouldn't allow more devices to connect when there are 16 or 17 devices connected. How can i increase it to 32 users?

I think that's the limitation of the router itself. You should get a higher spec router for that, which is more expensive of course. The reason why tenda is cheap, is due to limitations like this. Don't expect too much from cheap products. You'll only get what you paid for.

Yes. You need a physical connection between the source router and your tenda

Do you know any routers that does not need a cable to get connections? All routers+modem use cable. Even mesh needs cable on the main mesh node. You connect to the modem+router wirelessly, but for the modem+routers to have those connections to give out wirelessly, they always need cable

No. Connection to the source router always need to be wired. Even when using mesh nodes, the main node needs to be connected wired to the source router

@@johnarwingacis6287 The closest to a wireless router you can get are Mesh. But as mentioned. The main node still needs to be connected wired to the main router. What do you mean "subscribe"? It's just an independent router which you can use as an extra access point when you connect it to your existing internet router.

Pang extend lang ng connection yan. Hindi yan ISP (internet service provider). Sa Globe, PLDT or DITO ka kukuha kung prepaid internet. Sila magpo-provide ng modem sa yo.

Make sure you have the right one. It is usually printed at the back, or if you already changed it to a new static ip, that will be its IP. Also make sure that you are connected to the proper router before accessing the IP

@@ferozkhanjadoon Yes. As long as you've set it up as Dynamic (as shown in the video), it's basically just plug and play. You can use it on any network providers.

@@manoyoyao Technically magkaiba sila. Pero lahat ng router/modem ngayon ay combo na. Yang TEnda for example... Router + Modem combo na yan. Kaya you can call it either router or modem. Parang iisa na lang sya ngayon kasi lahat sila combo na.
