I’ll never forget finding this band. Friend sent me a few of their playlists. I stumbled on Tender’s song outside, and that blew open the door. So few bands have entire EP’s or albums where I love every single song. But that was the case with Tender. Several months after hearing that first song they released fear of falling asleep and the song ‘when they come for you’ played for the first time while I drove. Literally stopped the car because the song hit me so hard. I wish the band had more recognition, it always seems to be the case that the most innovative and talented artists of this era drown in a sea of over saturated mediocre music. Who knows how much great music like this is floating out at sea, waiting to be heard, but not seen amongst the clutter.
