Would love another video after the silencer install. It does sound much louder so hoping the silencer helps.

I have the same exhaust and I hate it because I cant find a way to make my turn signal protected or out of the way of the exhaust. They are always melting.

I wonder why Yamaha hasn't designed the pipe and muffler this way in the first place. That would be so much better. Maybe it needed to be that big because of the emission restrictions? Anyway - looks 100x better and I agree with you - db killer is necessary. You will suffer without it. Cheers! 😊

Yeah I agree. Why not make the exhaust like that in the first place. It’s not like it old cost more to design it like that. O well. Made the purchase that much more worth it. Thanks 😃

The T-7 would be too OP if they did.... Gotta have balance, dude.. Can't have this bike stomping over everything. That just wouldn't be fair, lol..

Did you had to remove the passenger footpegs for good to get it fitted on the bike ?

Yes I did. It’s one of the down sides to this exhaust, but I just love the design and fit of the exhaust. I also didn’t mind taking off the rear pegs to save a little weight since I’ll be taking this bike off road. I also have another bike with rear pegs so for me it wasn’t a factor. Im sure one could possible fabricate a way to include the rear pegs? I haven’t thought too much about that but I could take a closer look if you would like.

Did you have the ECU flashed with the new system? Im planning on doing a full exhaust on my T7 and cant find anywhere if I will need to tune the ECU. Thanks

Does this exhaust get hot ? I wonder if caring luggage that can touch it could be an issue..

That's a good question. Yeah the exhaust gets hot. IDK if it gets any hotter than the other muffler or not. Since the Dominator exhaust is so much more tucked in it might be completely out of the way. I would assume it also depends what type of luggage system you get. a fixed one obviously wouldn't be an issue. A saddle one that just flops over could possibly be a problem. I don't think it would tho. I was contemplating getting the saddle bags for this because I don't think it would be a problem. I did have my backpack on the back for a few days just strapped on the seat and that was never an issue.

Hello, very nice video, I want this exhaust too but my bike has a supermoto 180 wide tyre in the back for summer and was wondering how close does the can fit to the stock t7 rear tyre during compression? Would not like to order the exhaust and find out it does not fit my setup 😅 thanks!
