This performance was iconic the audience is the top artists in the business this is an awards show and this had the whole ampitheater on their feet for the whole performance ICONIC don't you think

He’s from Memphis - wayyyyy different than the rest of Tennessee (it was awesome when he asked Nashville if they were ready for a little Memphis) - and yes, my whole family is from Memphis :)

Chris is something else, and Justin did better than what I was expecting, despite using vocal gymnastics to shine, I would have liked to hear his voice more in the pocket. Still did good.

As you mentioned Justin really stands out on stage presence and not to be corny but swag, he is a natural. Yet, very few can hang w Chris Vocally. A lot of the time when Chris is doing a duet, or performing w other artist he has to hold back. To Chris's credit many times at award shows he is performing w an aging or retired legend so I think he does that out of respect. What I really appreciate about this performance is this was pretty early on in his launch of his solo career, almost catapulted him to a superstar over night. Justin certainly didn't take a back seat but even on Justin's song the arrangement allowed Chris to explode. They were able to highlight each artist strengths to put on one he'll of a show!

Totally agree, Joe. Another thing about Justin is that he's a hell of an actor. I saw him in a movie with Samuel Jackson years ago called "Black Snake Moan," and in my opinion, he 's right up there with the best of them! Even though I may not be the biggest fan of his music, I do appreciate talent when I see it, and as you said, he doesn't take a back seat to anyone from what I've seen in singing OR acting.

@@skroy8671 I certainly have my opinions a out Hollywood. Talent is talent, it's hard to deny it. He was quite funny on SNL quite a few times. I hope for his sake he is not caught up in what Hollywood has coming, it's real bad, but it needs to be stopped! Unfortunately from what I have seen this is going to end well for Justin like many,many others! It's going to shock the world. It's time for everyone to face reality!

@@JoeSmith-iv3sf I never saw him on SNL. I kinda liked the originals best, even though admittedly there's still talent there today with the SNL cast. As ignorant as this may sound, what's going on in Hollywood the he may be caught up in? I don't really stay as current as i probably should.

@@skroy8671 it may sound far fetched but the rumors or Conspiracy theories about Hollywood are true. Pedophilia out there is rampant to say the least. Along w many other places. A lot of big names have been getting arrested lately, A lot of info coming out for those paying attention. Know where to look. Just Yesterday the judge that was ruling over Jeffery Epstein's financial.case linking w the foreign bank accounts got hit. A guy dressed as Fed ex driver went to her house. Husband opened the door shot him multiple times, then murdered her 20yr old son shooting him threw the heart. The shooter fled and the judge was downstairs at the time. It's getting hairy!

@@JoeSmith-iv3sf I actually hadn't heard any of the theories so I don't judge them one-way or another. I know there's a lot of things going on in this world that's leading to more and more chaos, and that's all ultimately going to erupt at some point....and once it does?????? and the audience that went wild was full of country musicians there for the awards - but yeah, they killed it - if I were scheduled to go on after that, I’d sneak out the back door

Great duet, This song reminds me of an album that came out a while back called "Rhythm Country and Blues", that had songs on it like: "funny how time slips away" (Lyle Lovett and Al green) and "Since i fell for you" (Reba Mcentire and Natalie Cole)....I think it came out sometime around 1994 or 95ish? If Fact that could be a whole series of reaction videos for you ? would love to see you review or react to those.

lets not forget, even though JT doesnt do country country .... he is a homegrown Tennessee kid. JT and hid band the Tennessee Kids got that southern sound all the way. not comparable to Chris Stapleton’s Country sound ... but yeah

Dani, Chris Stapleton can sing and carried this song, I am sorry but justin cant sing just brief falsetto attempts and thats IT !! Justin is not a great singer and has fooled 14 year old girls for years !!
