It was just that the younger guys did not step up and make him pay, now some of these players are. 🙄 It is the natural order of things in the tennis world, sooner or later, the younger is going to beat the older player

Well, as you're not privy to how Djokovic felt after that nor to what his medical team have found, you're in no position to say that. When the bottle hit, he didn't just rub his head, he collapsed to the ground. Having said that, it's apparent that finally there are many new players like Tabilo now unfazed by taking on big names, which is why I think it will prove very difficult for anyone to match any of the big three in titles won.

Well you can but it seems like not against a guy who can return your serves. Once the ball is neutralised it often feels like it’s 50:50 or even he’s in disadvantage because he gets inpatient and doesn’t build up the point. On top of that he’s a very poor returner, one of the worst in the top 50. Zhang was serving 37% first serve in set 1 and Shelton won 3 points!

Wow Ben Shelton really needs to work on his early game. He’s doing a rune and making lots of early mistakes and then switching a switch late on, accept this guy isn’t managing to switch that switch. His serve is great when it’s on point, otherwise he has a floppy forehand. Too much mistakes.

Looks like finally after Sinner softened Djokovic with all those wins over him last year that NDs head is finally beginning to melt and can't take the heat anymore..once that little seed of doubt creeps in, it's very, very difficult to stop it ;)

Besides the bottle on his head incident, I am sure Rafa getting knocked out also affected Djokovic mentally. We are witnessing the closing of an amazing era in tennis. The will to fight on, as the last of the trio of gladiators, could be waning. Djokovic could soon be following in the footsteps of Fed and Rafa. I just hope not.
