Ember Prime should have won. Her’s actually looks 95% like the real thing. She even went to the trouble to have someone guide her, because she made the helmet accurate. It’s just that when you see a better Clem cosplay in the background, it will make other Clem’s seem inferior.

Nah Octavia and Garuda both had character, which is why they stood out more. Ember, while technically impressive, just stood there. Even if you argue that they couldn't see, they could have at least done a signature pose

They done it faster than some of the others claimed they took to basically just paint a t-shirt and throw in a few pieces of cardboard... It's obvious some of them actually tried and put some effort while others just wanted to be on the stage

You gotta love the amount of work that goes into these, I mean, look at Ember prime, Frost and Octavia, those are spot on, not to mention stuff like the Frost prompts the cosplayer even included decorations on them. Wish we can see Tennocon live again this year.

@@synical7733 all the costumes at the contest were made at home. The fact that you think the other costumes were professionally made shows that they should have won. The guy in the clem costume said "clem" Big deal. He didn't spent hours practicing a choreography. Anyone could have done it. The guy dressed as a dev has a much more complex choreography

Its quiet something to be proud of when you create something people enjoy so much that they put in so much efford into creating their own costumes of the fictional chars in your video game. I mean its somehow childish but especially that is whats so amazing about it. Keep your inner child alive. Warframe is awesome. Just started playing and loving it! Its so abstract and alien... nothing like it plus it is beautiful.

@@bulletsftw3655 Ehhh. he put a lot of work in it yes, and in the acting, but it doesn't look like clem. He won that competition because he was clem. Not because he had a good cosplay. The point of a cosplay is to recreate a character as close as possible and unfortunatly that just wasn't the case with the Clem one, and that is is why I think Ember should've won.

@@bulletsftw3655 effort was put in, but aesthetics weren't considered. It looks nothing like the target, and clem doesn't behave like that in memes or in game. He just wanted to play brain damaged space mutant for a minute on stage and got a win for it somehow.
