Tenor saw was way ahead of his time his music is as fresh in 2019 as it was in the 80's a great singer gone too soon
@lukeperry35773 жыл бұрын
Agreed. If you listen to many of the successful pop artists, there's at least a switch between singing and dance-hall style chorus. Whether we want to acknowledge it, Biggie ran with this, and it's just as fresh as it was in the nineties. The back-and-forth between hip-hop and dancehall reggae might be the most crucial fusion in vocal styles in 2020.

I wish to get into the same church as him, Hawkwind said you better believe It. I don't think he ever knew about this song although he can add "and enjoy It". Atheist's Bible 1960's afro chapter. Blessings 😂

The real feel or dancehall. No carbon copy or blue print. Original king Tenor R.I.P. 23yrs since his death at the age of 22yrs old. And still inspired by us all. Gwaan Mr Clive Bright, your still doing it many years on!! One of many legends!! Respect.

His voice is so clean and his energy is electrifying. Rest well Tenor Saw! It would be a miracle if they figured out what happened to you one day and who was responsible.
@JoelLessing3 ай бұрын
His songs were relatable and simple, based on repetitive chanting of sentiments to which we an all relate. He was a genius who knew how to make a simple bass ostinato and a two chord progression work a miracle, time after time. One of reggae’s all time greats, vastly under-appreciated.

He was always told Super Cat killed his father but nobody knows..
