An oath is meaningless if breaking that oath comes with zero consequences - and it’s becoming more and more apparent that’s the case. Zero accountability. They can operate with impunity knowing nothing will happen. They won’t lose their jobs, pensions and credibility. They just carry on like nothing happened at taxpayers expense. These hearings are bread and circuses. It will always be like this until people stand up and take their country back from the bloated bureaucracy - via the ballot box. It is not in congress's jurisdiction to investigate and prosecute a crime. That would be the Dept of Justice. Congress can certainly bring these issues visibility to the public, and they can hamstring federal funding for these types of programs. The DoJ needs to be held accountable here for turning a blind eye to this. It runs deep, and it runs right through the administration.
