Hey everyone, seriously, these HD58x headphones are awesome. Every individual instrument and frequency sounds so coherent, that it's really been making my editing/arranging and playback experience much more effective. In the past I've had issues with bassier tones throwing off my pitch, with the HD58x, no frequency really overpowers the other, so tracking vocals have also been much more efficient. To me The Doors style was the only one undoubtedly recognizable with eyes off screen, but it uses a gimmick of borrowing chord progression and rhythmic pattern from Riders on the Storm, which is kinda lazy. Same with that borrowed vocal run from Sweet Dreams in Eurythmics inspired rendition. It sounded the best of all styles though and Morrison impression is pretty spot on.

You'd also be surprised by some people's definition of metal - they may just mean the guttural/screaming vocals - and be totally fine with other metal stuff (instrumental metal, symphonic metal, military metal etc.)

@JS19 🚨 Yah that was me m.fkrs !! 😆 lol I was raised in the 80's and know exactly what metal is and sounds like. Lived through it all so buh bye lil children. YES cannibal corpse etc etc and every screaming a$$ metal band no matter sound the same. Loud & long guitar solos with a bunch of yelling and no content . oh not to mention not understanding a word but here and there. I will not nor change my mind. Wierdly enough, while I loves me some Beatles, that (and the John Denver) were the two I found least memorable. (And I own at least 2 John Denver albums - best of and the Muppets Christmas album. Which rocks.) I think the speed and chord-heavy nature of the song didn't lend itself to either of those styles, personally. (Just an amateur guess, though.) To me, they ended up sounding kind of "generic mid 70's". I did like the Doors version, though.
