The Geopolitics In Conflict Show

In a tense diplomatic showdown, Saudi Arabia has issued a veiled threat to the G-7 nations, starkly warning against the bold plan to seize Russian assets. This audacious move, spearheaded by the United States, seeks to punish Russia for its geopolitical maneuvers but risks igniting a global financial firestorm. The Saudis argue that such actions could shatter the bedrock of international financial trust and set a precarious precedent, potentially unleashing chaos across the global economic landscape. As the drama unfolds on the world stage, the stakes are incredibly high, with the potential to reshape international alliances and economic norms.

I've got these old collector dollar bills, that say on them something like "this dollar is backed up by gold". The USA dollar is no longer backed up by gold, it's backed up by Saudi oil only. The Saudis are understandably annoyed at continuing to back the USA dollar, as if Saudi oil belongs to America.

No. If Russia retaliates, the entire derivatives market would collapse and YOUR financial assets in USA and Europe, no matter what they are, will be taken by the big US banks. It has to do with the Safe harbor protections from 2005 and the existence of Central Clearing Counterparties that brings all US/Europe financial assets as collateral for failed derivatives. So European banks lend Russian money to Ukraine, which will default and then Russian assets go to big US banks, and as Russia seizes western assets in Russia, Central Clearing Counterparties fails and YOU lose all your assets as the big US banks take your assets to compensate the losses. You do not have property rights on these assets, just a "security entitlement" which basically a contractual claim that comes after the big US banks take their share fo assets, and you have a right to a fractional portion of the remnants. Current US and EU legislation puts your assets as collateral for failed derivatives in which you are not involved. It can be stocks, bonds, dollars or gold, or anything financial. If you had gold, you would need to have it in the basement so they do not take it.

Nope. The big US banks are. Russian assets are, as Ukraine default would pass the Russian assets to them. And as Russia retaliates, Safe Harbor protection in USA and Europe will make YOUR financial assets to serve as collateral for losses caused by Russian seizure of western money inside Russia. Big US banks will take them. And when I mean your financial assets, it involves ALL. No financial asset is safe, at least in US and Europe.

Comparing India to any other place in the world is hopeless, India is highly complex and the people are very creative and individualistic. Getting India to become a machine of modernity will be a process of great patience and consideration. The people work together so well that perhaps money is not the top value in India, money is a mark of energy and trade all in a hurry. Corruption is ubiquitous in this world, but India has the added plus of extraordinary psychological ability to manipulate with charm.

Saudi for its own interests(not cry foul for Russia) based upon huge dollar-based assets and Euro bonds, so Saudi firstly pose firm position against “weaponizing dollar” and join m-bride to minimize negative effects of dollar depreciation and find itself a way out when de-dollarization become dominant, and then Saudi followed by warning Europe banks to not go down the path of confiscating Russia foreign reserve and its interest or face up with Saudi’s dumping of Euro bond. One key take away for everyone here is in analyzing geopolitics as well as geoeconomics, place sovereignty nation interest always at first place and do NOT mix with your personal ideology and prejudice.

Elizabeth: "I love India. I have been to India for the wedding..." 😂😂 Did she get diarrhea? 😂 An Indian friend who lives in US for many yrs goes back to India to visit his parent. Each time he was India, he got diarrhea. 😂😂😂 Even when he drank bottled water and ete at high end hotels. This yr, his wife refused to go. Including the children too. And, he said the food and water in India are really bad. How did Elizabeth get away with it? 😂 Most Indians are immune to their diarrhea.

What Indians said before Madives's elections and India's elections in year 2024: 1) Maldive's "India Out" campaign has "backfired" and Miuzzu is losing support. Maldives is begging India for tourism and money.💪 2) Modi is the "most popular Prime Minister/leader of the entire world"💪 What happens in reality, after India's election and Maldive's election: 1) Modi's party on it's own won 238 out of 543 seats. (Source: ASTHA RAJVANSHI TIME). That's not even 44% of the total. Indeed, he is the "most popular Prime Minister/leader of the entire world" with only 44% support from his people. 🤭 2) Maldives's President Miuzzu won 71 out of 93 seats (76%). Indeed, Maldive's campaign for "India Out" has backfired. 🤭 Dishonest breed.🤭

No country rewrites history as good as India. During his visit to Nepal in 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself, addressing Nepal's Parliament said, “Nepal is the country where the apostle of peace in the world, Buddha, was born,”. However, Jaishankar, India's foreign minister said in year 2020 that "Buddha was a great Indian"? Tell me, who is lying? Buddha can't be an Indian and a Nepalese at the same time. Who's lying? Dishonest breed. Why did your FM apologized through a proxy spokesperson, Anurag Srivastava, and retracted his claim that "Buddha was an Indian" and amended his statement to "there is no doubt that Gautam Buddha was born in Lumbini, which is in Nepal"? ➡Article: "India dismisses controversy over Jaishankar's remarks on Buddha (Times of India)". 🔚

Modi's party on it's own won 238 out of 543 seats (source: ASTHA RAJVANSHI TIME). That's not even 44% of the total 🎉. Apparently, in Indian styled "democracy", 44% out of 100% support from the people or probably lower, is sufficient enough needed to stay in power as long as the leader of the party is Modi. 😅How many "Constable Chetan Singh-s" did he employ? Remember what Constable Chetan Singh did to the non voters? Direct quote from Constable Chetan Singh: If you want to live and vote in |ndia, I am telling you it's only Modi or Yogi......or ELSE 🤭🤐☠

Some inconsequential remarks: Will the Modi hug be the successor of the Zelenski one, now that Z's on the way out? In which case the G7(?) leaders ought to watch out - I recall the Modi rushing around on the stage, hugging & kissing all the other leaders a year or 2 ago. All a little unseemly, I seem to recall at that time. If so, Putin better get himself exorcised! Too true about T Carlson - he's just the US equivalent of Piers Morgan. The level of intellectual prowess of these two is a reflection of the politics & politicians so predominant in the West (I include Aus, Japan & SK as well, maybe Philippines & NZ too).

Skipping SCO, yet fly to Moscow for a state visit to Russia and followed by another to Austria, Modi is showing two things by paying his first exterior visit to Russia after 3rd term as PM; firstly his soft resentment toward China and expect territorial recession from China on borders which in my opinion is delusional. secondly his welcome by Russia and expect US to offer more to win back India which in my opinion is likely to achieve some if not all because US is simply have no other option. This is today and will last for decades for India to step two feet in different boats. As for India itself, Modi visit carries no ministerial staff and signed nothing concrete contract or agreement, but publish a joint statement which flooded with cliche only looks like head in the clouds.

As far as India it has everything a superpower has/needs ! Manufacturing, people power ! , military, nuclear capabilities, space force ! So it has first world stuff but also it’s hard to find a toilet or running water for the most of the country but that takes time and money ! Don’t forget it’s very big and populated and it’s still a poor developing country
