not only is this song great but episode 21 has the coolest transition of rimuru walking into the door and cuts to this opening showing him walking. idk why but it was such a sick transition

I absolutely love they did that. As well as the shot of Rimuru, Shion, and Ranga walking forward was the cover of the same manga volume as Walpurgis, that they adapted for the opening. Major praise to whoever thought of that transition.

i'm so hyped that there's an actual moment that tensura was nominated in the shonen category for a manga award because i always felt like this show is closer to that genre than isekai. no wonder it's the first manga series based on a light novel that has over 25 million copies sold. 😍rimuru is just on another level fr.

Tensura several time got nominated in that shonen kondasha manga award.and previous time it took the 1st prize award also (the 46th best kondasha manga award events 1st prize). And yeah tensura now falls under shonen catagory if you don't know.

Thanks to this amazing show not many Isekai shows can be place on a pedestal as This show, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime set the bar pretty high, but there still some good isekai but none wont hold a candle to this show. I think Overlord would be some what close I think.

The LN is a lot better on the plot by being a lot more detailed. However, watching the anime is essential for the appreciation of the wonderful and detailed depiction of Shion's giant..... sword. I meant to say sword.
