Still watching this presser even after the fight. I think Kambosos Jr’s attitude here is something that every young fighter should study. I seen somewhere someone described it as the “Clubber Lang attitude” from Rocky III and it’s very true. Always stay humble and train like your the challenger. Congratulations to the Kambosos camp!

Kambosos was a sparring partner of Manny Pacquiao for his prep on his last fight which was against Y. Ugas. Manny Pacquiao was right in predicting that George Kambosos could beat Teofimo Lopez and it did happen. Congratulations to George Kambosos!

Man, when Kambosos said “these belts are your curse” it really gave me chills… and you could actually notice that Teo knew everything Kambosos was saying about Teo losing his hunger and humility in that moment was true. The belts became his curse, so they were taken from him.

KAMBOSOS he's a classy dude and I'm rooting for him .I hope that he defeats TEAFIMO because he is a hypocrite. I watched this 3 times pre fight and at the time I thought.... 1. George looks confident 2. Lopez looks overconfident 3. Lopez Sr is a strange guy. Im pleased kambosos won!

This is one incident that Teofimo Lopez could look back on to with bitter thoughts of what he did wrong in his losing fight against a 13-1 underdog. He did not make mistakes in his fight, but his loss was just a realization of what his ability was against a better fighter.

I have a few questions, 1) what happened to the 1st round KO ? 2) what happened to humbling George? 3) what happened to the Lomachenko rematch? 4) what happened to taking on Haney? And to López Sr, what happened to your son not being beatable? Truth is, these are all rhetorical. The fact still remains that when you speak God's name in vain, there are great consequences, much greater than what one thinks he is. He WILL humble ANYONE and at ANY time. I have nothing but empathy for Teofimo and hope he can get past the examples that have been set before him. I believe his father is more a hindrance than a positive influence. One can't thank God then turnaround and say "suck my %!@%" with the same tongue. His word is VERY clear, you CAN'T serve two master's. One ought to THINK before speaking death with the same tongue they proclaim God with. I hope this loss leads both to humility, if not, their road will only get more difficult. MGSYM

I don’t want to generalize that all Hondurans are arrogant and act all bravado like Lopez Sr, but most Honduran that I knew and worked with were arrogant and cocky.

As much as I agree taking the Lords name in vain is one of the great sins the only reason Lopez lost this fight was his preparation and skills. He gets hit too much and he has a shithead in the corner giving him advice. At one point he was so confused as to what to do he just decided to tell his kid that he was doing well even though he was losing rounds. The commentators on the Spanish net work you could hear them saying he’s not doing well even though I don’t speak Spanish.

I feel like Teo tries too hard and got pretty emotional at times. He came off really cringe. I liked how composed Kambosos seemed up until Teo got close and you could see Kambosos’s mindset switch really quickly. I can’t deny Teo’s skills at all, but I’ll be rooting for the underdog.

One thing I noticed when they faced off at the end is Teo realizing how serious Kabosos is. This isn't just a pay day for him. He wants and really believes he can win and that's what you need to win. That's one of the reasons Shakur beat Herring so easily because Herring didn't believe in himself. He was scared to fight back. Only one round he fought but other than that he shelled up like a turtle. You won't win that way. It doesn't matter how decorated someone is they breath the air as you and if you really want it you can accomplish anything.

I had never even heard of George until the Selby fight and I was impressed. Then as soon as I watched the very 1st presser with Lopez and the way he spoke and the way he was so confident, I just knew he was going to win.
