I don't have discomfort when using this. This is one of the common angles I use while drawing. I think you have to find out whether it's the angle or the height that's not good for your posture. If it's the angle, you can change the angle easily (I recommend the Parblo PR100 stand). If it's the height, I personally would place a big thick book beneath to raise it higher. Recently I been using the Benks universal stand which has height and angle adjust and found that my back hurts after drawing for long period. I would avoid spending money first until I find out exactly what I'm comfortable with.

Among other reasons, that's why I use my intuos pro L and XL (I have a Huion Kamvas 22 hooked to the laptop, works fine, but I'm mostly a desktop user). But I also use a Samsung S7 FE (12,4 inches) tablet which I use for short sessions (with Krita). My advice would be to do the longer, heavier work with the intuos, and do only very short sessions with the portable tablet (or any pen-display ("screen tablet")). Pen-tablets make it a lot easier to paint with your back and neck fully vertical (but important: relaxed). Tablets like the Samsung S family, or the iPads (Pro and standard) are IMO two *amazing* brands of tablets for drawing "on the go". As, anyways, those will tend to rarely be 5 hours sessions : surely an hour max, and you changing of pose going for the coffee or WC in a starbucks (careful, I've seen ppl getting their device stolen... some ppl insist in leaving their (even worse!) drink or device alone) ...short sessions would more rarely make your back and neck hurt. I'm gonna get (a gift) very soon a Remarkable and/or a Scribble Pad. Those are probably good also for sketching on the go. A very important fact that most people don't consider is that whether you use a pen-tablet, display-tablet or a tablet (like the ipad) , you really, really need to stretch the neck, arms and back, ideally every 20 or 25 minutes, at least every half an hour; ideally, getting up and walking a bit, too, it's good for many other reasons as well. And without any excuses, at least every hour. Otherwise, issues are guaranteed for most people. This is waaay more the case with an ipad/etc, or a display-tablet (screen tablet) than with a classic pen-tablet. But you'd better stretch and get up from the chair, walk a bit frequently, also with pen-tablets + desktop/laptop. It's a difficult balance between keeping healthy and not losing focus/procrastinating, but trust me, it is possible. It's quite less the case when drawing on the go, outside, you are moving already and it's about short sessions.
